I was a Jersey "housewife" for years in the next town over from Franklin Lakes where they all seem to live. I missed this whole aspect of the culture. (Probably because I was busy working...) But I've been to the Brownstone quite a few times for Awards Dinners when the kids were in school and for the occasion wedding. Ditto for the Manor, where the Christening debacle took place.

All this drama right in my backyard. Who knew?

Danielle has an exclusive contract stripping at SCORES in Manhattan if you feel like you've been missing her. You can go feel her lumpy fake cans in the Champagne Room for $1000. Enjoy!

Actually, a week or two ago she had to break that contract with SCORES after coming to the realization that being 50+ with teenage daughters, and sliding her old ass down a pole was absolutely outrageous. Apparently she is being sued for breach of contract. Is there anyone who has NOT sued that woman? I honestly feel bad for her kids. They are the ones suffering the most from this nonsense.

lol, does anyone remember during season 1 of RHNY during the famous "girls night out dinner" when the Countess suggested that she and Simon go to Scores after he 'crashed' the party with Alex?

She has two beautiful daughters and I feel so, so sorry for them. I mean honestly, I was embarrassed when my mom wore one of my shirts to pick me up at school - I can't imagine how they feel.

Also, I had no idea there was a new episode on tonight. I have to record the repeat and watch it tomorrow. Oops.

She's been accused of putting her name on a ghost written cookbook for sales. I wouldn't doubt that.

Also, when she was introduced to the fashion buyer, she said, "I'm an author". Bitch please. One cookbook does not = author.

It was also rich when she said, "I used to work in fashion too. I worked at Macys". Bitch we aint talking about your stint in the shoe department back when you starting dating Juicy.

Shes a little deluded.

I just assumed she had a ghost writer for the cookbook. Could you imagine HER writing everythiong? "First, I make-a the ground meat for the meatballs, I aks my husband how many he wants, I add some of my secret ingredientses like parsleys and ground peppers...."

HAHAHA!!!! I was like WTF when she said she worked in fashion and it was Macy's. I was like "Ummmmmm, lady Macy's aint Bergdorf Goodman."

I think it was big of Kathy to go to Caroline's house and apologize, but like she said, she does not need Caroline's approval. That woman can be so difficult.

If you don't think that Macy's is setting more fashion trends in America than BG then you are as delusional as T can be. I'm touchy about comments like that because I'm a former buyer for a major US department store and can tell you, it's a tough job. I ran a 30 million department at the age of 25. I'm not a huge fan of Teresa's, but I will give credit where credit is due and like it or not, she is selling the crap out of some cookbooks.

I apologize if I upset you, but I'm confused by why you're upset? I didn't insult anyone. Teresa was not a fashion buyer for all I know. She just said she worked in fashion at Macy's. She never said she was a buyer, a merchandiser, a planner, or whatever. For all we know, she could have been a sales assistant. I was just stating that the way she said it, you would think she worked for Prada. Macy's is a great department store, but I don't see it as the same level as BG. Macy's sells to the masses, which is probably why the store sets more fashion trends in America, but BG caters to a niche target demographic.

She was the accessories buyer for Macy's corporate -- buying all handbags, leather goods, scarves, belts, etc. for the entire country. That's fashion! BTW, her being a Macy's Buyer is in all of her bio's. There are only two BG stores in NYC, there are 800 Macy's in the US. I think Macy's has a bigger impact on fashion and fashion trends in America.

Fair enough. She didn't say that she was a corporate buyer when she introduced herself though, and in the same breath she called herself an author - so it sort of diluted the significance, lol!

However, isn't comparing the number of Macys to BG kind of like comparing the number of McDonalds branches to the one Le Bernardin?

On Monday's episode, Teresa never said she was an accessories buyer. All she said was that she worked in fashion for Macy's. She didn't go into specifics. Being a buyer is a VERY important job. Believe me, I know. But, she never said that's what she did nor did I even know that's what she did. I've never read her bios, I've never looked her up on wikipedia, I've never read her books, etc. Therefore, I wouldn't know she was a former buyer. Although, I could have guessed that she would be a buyer because Kelly Cutrone once said (not my words) buyers are cumpulsive shoppers, which is one of the reasons they hold the job title. Again, not my words. It was insulting on Cutrone's part, but it makes sense with Teresa. I mean look at her current financial situation. Not saying she is to blame because it takes two to tango.

Also like misschung stated, Macy's and BG are completely different stores. There is only one Bergdorf Goodman and it's in NYC and it caters to a certain target market. There are plenty of Macy's stores in the U.S. and they all cater to a more accessible market. My point was that I wouldn't put Macy's in the same league/category as Bergdorf Goodman.
