Is anyone on these boards Jebediah Atkinson? Just wondering because of his Tony and theater rants on Weekend Update on SNL tonight.

I want to unpin the bit about Jordan saying LH shouldn't be sharing information about others he wouldn't want to share about himself. Is he a famous person? A former poster? A current poster? Is this some kind of prank for LH's one year (has it been just one year?) anniversary? I just don't want this thread to end without that plot hole closed!

Happy to give you closure, if that's what you need PRS....

I am a current poster who joined in May of 2013 with one IP address, one email account, and one username on BroadwayWorld.com. You are more than free to message Rob to ask for verification on this (I believe some already have). The personal information I have posted in the past is true: I am a gay man living in New York City since 2001, happily married, have a dog, and work in television production.

I had been reading and following the boards since 2007 -- yes, I actually was that mythical creature known as the "longtime lurker" -- and decided to join last year when my work load lightened leaving me with more time to indulge online.

For those who actually care and remember, my first few months here were fine. Barring the exception of a select two or three who were just absolutely convinced I was some kind of a "troll" or "sock puppet," because of a silly user name I had chosen, I actually had many great conversations on here and developed great rapport with many, whether through the message board or through private message.

Perhaps my erratic and defensive behavior began once the person behind SueStorm was banished from the Board, because it meant there was no single target for everyone to unite against. So, naturally, many on here turned to me... I had no real problems with anyone until around November or December. Because I am opinionated and because I do often carry unpopular opinions for a Broadway message board environment, I became a rather easy target.

Meanwhile, over the course of time, I easily connected the dots and learned who FN was because we are Facebook friends and because we had seen each other a couple times over the last year but interacted only briefly. My curiosity finally got the best of me and I messaged FN on Friday to ask "Are you ____ from ____?" because if he was, that would change so many things for me on here. Despite what FN thinks, it was not insidious and I had no ill will behind it. I simply wanted to know since it would reveal a lot for me... At least on a more personal level.

He deleted the messages without looking at them, even though I did try to get his attention privately. I take full responsibility and ownership for crossing the line. Surely he did not want his personal information posted, he just wanted me to falter. Clearly he figured the risk was worth it to see me get eaten alive by the sharks. Well, I took the bait and I am very sorry to everyone -- including myself -- that I did.

Was already unpopular on here and this mistake was my final nail in the coffin, I'm sure. So I have nothing else to say on the matter or on anything else related to this Board. I will step back and just read from afar. While it might be difficult for some on here to believe this, not everyone with an unpopular viewpoint or tendency is a "troll" or "sock puppet" with 100 accounts. Some of us are just extremely flawed individuals with glaring imperfections that stick out even more when posting on an anonymous message board.

Thank you.

Can't help but think of this.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

So, you are implying that Namo, having not read your PMs, was baiting you into posting his personal information, which he was unaware you had, just so the other posters would gather the lynch mob? Makes sense.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

Something I have noticed with the trolls, sock puppets, or other "new" people is they somehow end up with an obsession with either Namo or Jordan. Why is that? I put new in quotation marks because I don't want to make it out to be that all new people do that.

We all tell ourselves all kinds of stories about ourselves so we can live with the decisions we make. In LH's narrative, *I* baited him!

And the world goes 'round.

I think it's telling for all of the "I probably shouldn't haves" there's not a single "I'm sorry I did".

Oh. And LH and I have *never* met. I don't gladly suffer fools in real life either.

"Wait, so 3 of us actually had a pet named Tuffy at some point? That's really weird. I didn't think Tuffy was really common."

Well, Tuffy was the dog my parents had before I was born. I had a fish, but I think Tuffy Juanita is a better name than Radish Juanita.

Also, this MELTDOWN. Calm your t*ts, y'all. It's a message board about musical theatre.
