I love this movie

My favorite is Rowan Atkinson's "I'm Winning, I'm Wiiining!"

"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

It's a guilty pleasure. Rowan Atkinson MADE the movie. He had me and my friend literally rolling in our seats. Also, Jon Lovitz and the Nazi scandal was HILARIOUS.

That said, IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD can't be beat.

This movie was filmed in my hometown, and a few of the sets were built across the street from my best friend's house so we used to catch a glimpse of a few of the stars every now and then.

And I agree regarding Rowan. He is definitely the thing I remember most about this movie. That and the squirrel stuff.

great movie, Atkinson was so funny. and the comedy was perfectly orchestrated. I'm glad there are some other fans of this very funny movie.

favorite moment: John Lovitz in the casino. Looks at the slots and says, in his trademark Lovitz tone: "A Dollar!?!" And then goes to the nickel slots.

Rowan was the high light. Really, I haven't seen the movie in a year or two, but the part I remember most is Rowan's "I'm Winning, I'm Wiiining!" LMAO!

See the uncut Mad if possible

In it, the opening roundtable meeting is even more covoluted & brilliant

It's a funny little movie. I love John Cleese and his crew throughout. Nothing historical, to be sure, but it was a silly movie to watch on a crappy weekend afternoon.

Lucy Impersonator: How about a pit-stop?
Owen Templeton: Sorry, this is a one way flight. There's a bathroom in the back.
Lucy: The latch is broken. Anyone could just walk right in.
Owen Templeton: So? Look, you ain't got nothin' these other Lucys haven't seen before.
Lucy: [man's voice] Not necessarily.

Tracy Faucet: So what's wrong with her?
Nick Schaffer: Who?
Tracy Faucet: Your sister. You said it was serious.
Nick Schaffer: Oh yeah... shark bite.
Tracy Faucet: Shark bite?
Nick Schaffer: Yeah.
Tracy Faucet: And they took her to Silver City?
Nick Schaffer: Yeah, they have a really good shark attack unit there.

I love this part:

Enrico Pollini: Am I too late? Look, I won a coin, a gold coin! Oh, isn't this wonderful? Look at this room! What a beautiful room! Have you seen this room?

Randy Pear: Yes...we're in it!

Hahaha.

I LOVE this movie! Atkinson was my favorite part in this film ("Where is the key, my little baby?"). However, I think the second best character in this movie was that stupid cow, especially in the part with the air balloon.
