It's probably a little exaggerated, but definitely believable.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Chelsea sounds like a spoiled, emotionally underdeveloped, mentally unbalanced kid to me. How big a role Rosie has played in that is debatable. Nothing she's said about Rosie is surprising or all that out of the ordinary, as far as I'm concerned. Big surprise that her public persona is different than her private one. Big surprise that she left The View because of her conflict with Whoopi. Big surprise that she doesn't like wearing make-up, and only has a make-up artist apply it when necessary. Big surprise that she's no fashion plate and dresses for comfort in the privacy of her own home. Big surprise that she has mood swings. And so what if she locks herself in her arts and crafts room, blasts Madonna and smokes weed? If that's her outlet, at least she's not doing it in front of her kids. If this is the best the little brat's got, her book is going to be a big flop. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

What I kind of love about it is that back when JD Salinger died, some magazine asked celebrities what they thought and Rosie went on a tear that as a kid she couldn't relate to a spoiled entitled boarding school kid's existential crisis.
Now we hear she shipped her kid off to boarding school who turns around and calls her "phony"! She raised herself a Holden!

OK, who do we see playing Rosie and Chelsea when the sure to come Mommy Dearest 2: the Arts and Crafts Monster tell all comes out and is made into a film? Meh, I read the whole article. Yeah sounds right, nothing too off kilter. Having met Rosie and knowing dozens of people who have worked for her, this is pretty spot on, though not as horrible as I could have imagined.
