She sure knows how to keep people talking.
It's disturbing but at the same time have you seen the documentary Invisible Children where in Uganda they steal kids and train them to be soldiers at age 5.
You see, obsessions are very personal things, they come from deep inside us, where we are open and vulnerable, which is why I consider them sacred, not to be belittled....PalJoey

Several people have voiced their opinons on the picture on Rosie's blog.
I think that it's a powerful statement she's making. Whether or not you agree with the photograph, if this was any other child, say in Iraq, it wouldn't be such a big deal, but because it's Vivi O' Donnell, suddenly it's national news, Rosie's proving a point. Our media only shows us images they want us to see.
If that image were from any other country, I gurantee you, it wouldn't make the 6 o'clock news.

I think it makes an interesting point. The media basically ignores the fact that Islamic extremists are training children for suicide missions, but they will jump on a photo of Viv simply because she's Rosie's child.
Look how much coverage we got that Paris walked out of "jail" as if it were really the most important story in the world right now.

Kids arn't allowed to dress up like soldiers anymore? Soldiers arn't heros that they should dress up like if they feel like playing pretend?
Perhaps we should burn all plastic cowboys and indians as well. And while your at it water balloons and squirt guns absolutely MUST GO!

But she seems to have a heart and a conscience and basically seems to try not to deliberately hurt people. That's a lot different from Ann of Mean Stables.
