Rosie's new show

Tag, I watched last night as well as when Joel Grey and Sutton Foster were on the night before.

I liked the one-on-one format except Rosie kept on interrupting Kathy Griffin. She would ask her a question, then start answering it for her. It was driving me crazy. I will tune in tonight for the 2nd part though, but not sure if I'll be watching on a regular basis.

I like the brighter set, but still feel the program is a little off. I used to watch her religiously when she had her first show, but maybe my tastes have changed. I definitely don't look at her in the same light any longer.

Rosie's new show

I'm kind of not surprised, though I found myself tuning into her show more since she switched to the one-on-one format. Knowing that she's in the process of relocating to NY, it will be interesting to see what's in store for her.

So are the NBC rumors true?

Rosie's new show

She's been wanting the show to be taped in NYC since she signed on with Oprah and Oprah refused. I have to wonder if that's why Oprah cut her loose. Maybe Rosie will actually get her "own" show come this fall.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Rosie's new show

I read somewhere recently before she signed with OWN and even after, NBC has basically said "just remember us". They want a morning show I do believe… I'm curious about her contract, she is reportedly contracted till 2013. How does/will that work?

Rosie's new show

Well I tuned in on Friday wanting to catch her final episode, but I guess the plug was pulled a day early. She certainly went quietly. I read Rosie even had issues with Oprah's long time director, Joe Terry.

Rosie's new show

I watched every episode. Maybe not live, but I watched every single episode. I feel like I've known Rosie my whole life and always looked forward to hanging with Ro, if you will.

The fact that there was no proper "goodybe" bugged me. It was a clear decision on OWN's part to not give her the platform to say farewell.

Then they must have had a reason. I hope she goes back to radio. Her show worked there.

So doesn't Oprah have to "pay her out"?
