Jane - yes. They were given a waiver by the WGA, presumably in recognition of the support they've received from SAG.

Jane - there is supposed to be pre-awards coverage on E!, but there's also supposed to be another storm-front moving in by then, so I don't know how much red-carpet action they'll get.

i love that while they interview one actor, there's an insert showing who else is on the red carpet. I noticed that before the celeb is aware they're on camera, as they are entering the red carpet, a lot of them look nervous and insecure. They're human!

Where was all this sentimentality when The Gilmore Girls ended. They never got the love. I guess since I've never seen an episode of The Sopranos, I'm a tad bitter.
