It is not anti-Michael Moore. America rejects the "Moore Care" plan every time it is suggested. Whether it is Hillary Care or Truman Care, Americans just don't want his type of a plan.

I am thrilled that so many people saw the movie. It has exposed Moore for what he is, a fraud-a total, misinformed, hypocritical tawdry little liberal fraud.

We'll never know. He either saw the film and loved it and would never admit it or he lied (again) and never saw it and is avoiding the question like Bush avoided Vietnam!Michael Moore is doing well. The film is doing well. A majority of Americans, both conservative and Democrat agree with Moore and it drives HD batty! All he can do is TRY to discredit Moore and lie about numbers and post blogs as reputable sources for his claims/lies.

I didn't see the show, so I don't know about the context in which Matthews made the comment, but it is possible CNN, like many other employers, hires consultants (ie not employees) for some jobs because it is more practical. There are people who choose the consulting route, and work as independent contractors because they prefer that rather than being an employee. Again, I don't know the specifics of the situation to which Matthews refers, but all the consultants that I know of purchase their own insurance, and factor in that cost when they negotiate their consulting fee.
