I think Brandon is a great dancer, but he just sort of rubs me the wrong way. I can't quite put my finger on it, but he just comes off as insincere and fake to me. But I ADORE Jeanine. Once she was liberated from her albatross known as Phillip, she burst through as a serious contender and I think she's surpassing Kayla at this point, especially in the solos.

I love that they're bringing back some of the dances, but I'm just hoping I get to see the return of a couple of my faves from previous seasons:

Calling You (Contemporary) - Travis and Heidi

Dancing (Contemporary) - Lacey and Kameron
Sweet Dreams (Jazz) - Sabra and Neil
Time (Contemporary) - Lacey and Neil
Here I Come (Hip-Hop) - Lacey and Kameron
Hip Hip Chin Chin (Samba) - Lacey and Danny

Bleeding Love (Hip-Hop) - Chelsea and Mark
No Air (Hip-Hop) - Katee and Joshua
The Garden (Jazz) - Mark and Courtney
Mercy (Contemporary) - Twitch and Katee
Dreaming With a Broken Heart (Contemporary) - Twitch and Kherington

I know I've missed some others, but these were some really notable performances.

The breast cancer piece was very moving...and I would have loved to see a longer version of it.

However, I think it will keep Ade around and I'm ready for him to go home!

I must disagree, courteously. Evan is a terrific dancer and is pulling off styles not quite suited for his body type pretty well. I love what Ellen said about his uniqueness. Yay for the (us) little guys! His butt is d-lish too.

But that was true about what Nigel said about his "bedroom" eyes if he wants to portray the "seductive male" in a dance (Mia Michael's eyes are the same).
However he probably wouldn't get cast in the role anyways.

I do believe that was the most boring and dare I say worst night of this season. The last three pieces were stunning, but still. I was hoping for more... I suppose it will be made up for tonight, right?

I am not sure about what girl should go home, because I think they are all outstanding. The girls are amazing this season~ As for the boys... as much as I hate to say it, Evan. I love him, and I think his own style is so fresh and I think he's adorable and wonderful... but he can't compare to the other boys.

Speaking of the boys, I am very impressed with Jason. He has really improved and I am so glad. Although I feel if a boy were to win this season, it would be Brandon. I love him too.

I am so excited to see some of my favourite dances. It's going to be awesome. :3

I know I might be in the minority on this, but I really loved that Broadway routine last night. Kayla is simply stunning. And I don't think the night was as boring as Nigel was making it sound. I thought Janette did awesome in the first Jazz number, and as I said, I liked the Broadway. But the last three routines were definately the best. My personal favorite was Jeanine and Brandon Pop Jazz. Jeanine danced so incredibly strong which I loved.

For the guys my guess is Evan is the one to go home. If you would have asked me a week ago which girl I thought would go home, I would have said Melissa, but after last night, I highly doubt she's leaving...but I can't even guess what girl will be leaving. They are all so great! My personal favorite top 2 girls are Jeanine and Kayla....I could watch them dance all day.

And am I the only one who thought Ellen was getting a little repetitive last night? I absolutely love her, but not on SYTYCD...

Ellen was coming off like Robin Williams. I detest that nonsense from him, too. Why the hell should I be excited to see Katie Holmes?! Who wants to see her? Give me Heidi and Benji! Leave these "special guest stars" off the show. They have zero business being there. Last night's show was the worst in the show's history, imo. Please don't ruin my favorite show on television!

I also think Evan's going home...he was the only guy last night without one good routine...the other three had at least one.

Most of the routines last night were hot messes...so disappointing. Obviously Tyce's contemp routine was phenomenal...then again, most of his contemp stuff is...why oh why do they ever have him choreograph B'way??? Doesn't work.

The EW prediction game has America's pick to go home as Melissa...and they've been right every week...wouldn't be surprised...I think any girl could go at this point except Janette...she's going to win the whole thing, I think.

Ellen as judge...oh boy. It was funny the first time she said "I can do that"...then it just turned into a standup routine...I just didn't get why she was there...

Also, Mary needs to stop saying "english muffin", it's not funny anymore.

I think it's what she said: she really want to see a taping and they probably talked her into being on the panel. I actually liked her more when she WASN'T being funny. (And I like Ellen.)

OMG, that dance to "One" from A CHORUS LINE was amazing. It was like, Tim Burton's version of A CHORUS LINE. Love Mia Michaels.

Dottie - But in season 2, they were pretty fresh compared to what was out there at the time. They have beaten it to death the last couple of seasons
