Season 4 was my favorite so far. I have to agree. This season has amazing dancers but something is just very bland about most of them. And I think part of the problem is the amazing Top 20 night. The past two weeks just haven't been as fantastic as that first night.

I hate Toni as a judge. I don't find anything she says helpful. I feel like everything she says starts with "Back in my day..."

I hate that Jonathan and Karla's hip hop wasn't so great. I think he's so adorable and I find it impressive that he's only been dancing for 3 years.

My favorites last night were the Ade and Melissa's Rumba, Evan and Randi's Contemporary, and Kayla and Kupono's (even though I don't care for him) Viennes Waltz.

I agree with you guys about the favorite dances. I literally just gave a rundown to my coworker and the dances I mentioned were Randi and Evan, Jeanette and Brandon, and Melissa and Ade. Karla and Jonathan weren't horrid, but they were awesome. Nobody here so far has mentioned Asuka and Vitolio. I hope they're in the bottom three tonight, but I think that he was sweet and heartwarming in his non-dance segments, so that might be enough to get the little girls to pick up the phone. Asuka just sort of annoys me. I didn't feel like there was any heart or connection to the music in that number. And that could have been hot.

I didn't think Phillip was that bad last night. In the tango his lack of technique was REALLY obvious, but I thought it was pretty cute last night. Jeannine saved it...she's adorable. I really like her. And I actually sort of liked the routine. I'm generally not a fan of Tyce's Broadway dances. His jazz routines have been good, but man, he's still such a jerk. Did you see him in the footage tell Phillip, "It's four walks. Get over it!" Jerk...you are not as all that as you think you are Tyce.

I think Jeanette and Kayla are FIERCE. Kayla's legs and lines are insane and Jeanette can perform the hell out of anything. She and Brandon were great last night and they went full tilt. I think that's been the problem with hip hop this season. Most of them haven't just gone balls to the wall with it. You can't hold back in those routines.

So far, I think this season is pretty good. The hip-hop choreography has been pretty uneven, though. Even if they danced it perfectly, Jonathan and Karla were simply saddled with a dull routine just as Ashley and Kupono were last week. And finally, Tyce presented some decent Broadway choreography. I felt so bad for Asuka and Vitolio the first week, because what they had to work with was dreadful.

Brandon really pulled it out, but I can sort of see how Mia gets annoyed with him. He's a great dancer, but his personality really comes across as one-dimensional, which makes him seem sort of disingenuous. I actually like Asuka. I can't explain why, but I find her sort of charming, especially after the vulnerability she displayed in the rehearsal clip.

My personal favorites to see in the final four would be Jason, Ade, Kayla and Randi (my picks from the first Top 20 episode, actually). The judges are obviously getting a bit testy that Phillip has a following that may keep him in the competition over more obviously gifted dancers.

Based on last night's performance, I would say Kupono and Karla will be next to go if Phillip and Jeanine are not in the bottom three.

I also forgot to add, I'm not a fan of Kaitlin. Yes her technique is amazing, but I don't believe her as a performer.

Really? I find her technique to be pretty terrible. Yes she can flip around and stretch her leg over her head, but if you rewatch her routines (ESPECIALLY Bollywood and whatever she did last week, I don't even remember - hip hop?) she totally half-a$$es ALL her moves, she doesn't finish ANYTHING!!!

I'm over Vitolio/Asuka as well - although the judges LOVE them, so even if they're in the bottom, I can't imagine them getting sent home. I would also be SHOCKED to ever see Philip in the bottom three - he's had three years of publicity on this show, his following by now must be ginormous.
