(God, I hope we can still be friends after all this)
Rentaholic, so let me see if I understand you. You say God created sin? NO HE DIDN'T. Sin is the seperation from God and Jesus died for our sins. Ok, if you believe that then how can you say God created sin? Why would Jesus die to fight something God created? It makes no sense. Also, in my last post I was not talking about you. I never mentioned your name once in that whole statement. I don't know you so how can I say what you do and don't believe. I was saying "some christians." This is some trivia that Christians tend to forget, Jesus hung around with sinners every day. He said why do we need to hang around believers when they are not the ones we need to be saving (not in those exact words, but I am paraphrasing). A lot of Christians forget that and damn everyone who is different from them. That is the main thing that makes me UBER MAD. If I wasn't a Christian already I honestly do not know if I would have become one because of the ignorance and hyporcites that is in the church (and I am not talking about you Rentaholic, but the church in general)
I think that one of the best things about the bible, Jesus hangs around with the tax collectors, fisherman, prostitutes, etc. I think if Jesus were living here and now he'd be hanging out with the homosexuals the "outcasts" of our society.
Isn't that the whole point? Jesus was all about bringing the outcasts in.
Spider, I agree with you about sin. Sin, as far as I've ever been taught as been defined as "separation from God" just as, I was never taught that hell was a firy pit of doom or something. Since God is love, hell is absense of love.
Very true amasis, but it just erks me to end. And everytime I state my opinion about something I get talked to like I am not a christian now (which I have been told before that I wasn't a christian because I had questions). I think we need to start our CHURCH OF WARLOW. How 'bout it? LOL
bythesword, Hell is defined in the bible as eternal seperation from God and God is love......so I agree with you 100% on that one. I don't know about the fiery pitt though. It says in the bible about that I just don't know where. All I know is that is one place I do not want to go.

Well, after exploring the possibilities, I've decided I can't be a part of any church/organized group... But if I can pay respect to Anthony Warlow in an "unorganized" fashion, then I'm game .
Oh!
Anthony Warlow is an opera and musical theatre star based in Australia. He made his debut with the Australian Opera when he was 19 as Puck -- and did a few seasons with them before moving to do musical theatre (his first was Guys and Dolls). For musical theatre, he's done the following roles in Australia: Enjolras in Les Miserables, Phantom in Phantom of the Opera (youngest in the world, I think), Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, Archibald Cravens in the Secret Garden. He had to take time off when he was battling Lymphoma, but then made a comeback and has continued appearing in the Australian Opera, as well as performing musical theatre and his own solo concerts.
His voice can be heard on:
* Les Miserables Complete Symphonic Recording
* Secret Garden - Australian Cast Recording
* Jekyll & Hyde - Concept Album
* Patience - Australian Opera
* Grease - The Arena Spectacular
* Main Event
And of course there's the solo albums: Midnight Dreaming, Back in the Swing, On the Boards, Face the Music, Centre Stage. They tried to get him to come to Broadway to do Jekyll & Hyde; an offer which unfortunately he turned down. ("Unfortunate" not because J&H was *so* good, but because it would have been a chance for the Broadway audience to get exposed to his talents. He is incredible).
There. Spider can probably fill you in on anything I missed

Anthony Warlow is a VOCAL GOD. Anywho, Warlow also was supposed to be pilate in the 1992 Austrialian cast of Jesus Christ Superstar, but because of his cancer he was unable to do it. He beat the cancer (THANK GOD) and now he is back to singing and in my opinion he sounds better than he did before the cancer. That man needs to get to the US just for a week and come near me so I can see him and bask in his Warlowness.
Concept Album is SOOOO much better than the broadway recording. If you want to know what he sounds like go either to towerrecords.com or his official website http://www.anthonywarlow.com.au/. At the latter website you can hear full clips of him singing. Be prepared though. It will be a life changing event.

Thanks so much for your reply. As always, I enjoyed your honesty and openness. It is BWW'ers like you and Margo and others that I keep reading to see how you put the rest of us in line with oftentimes great words of wisdom. Thank you.
On another subject, I think you are confusing my posts with someone else's. I said nothing about "as if you were there" to you and I did not state any of my beliefs on the subject at hand. I just commented on how I think we should treat each other with respect, even in this controversial thread.
Anyway, I look forward to reading your future insights!

NYBroadwayNY - thank you for accepting the apology - and for your 'tolerance' reminder in general I'm sorry about the reference to the phrase - after going back to research, it was Reantaholic who used that statement, and I'm sorry to have implied that it came from you.
