They QUIT?
But, wait - they don't get to be part of the jury do they? That wouldn't be fair for them to have a vote!
I was confused by Jeff's comments about leaving the torches there for the jury...
I cannot believe those losers quit. Good riddance. I loved that Jeff was so disgusted with them.

One of the very best things about Survivor is how seriously Probst takes the game and how he becomes personally offended when people quit. I LOVE how disgusted he gets.
That being said, good riddance to the quitters. One of them said about 8 things the entire season, the other couldn't keep her mouth shut. I do feel badly for people like Marty who desperately want to be in the game, but can't.

I don't understand why they get to be part of the jury. Naonka is a pathetic excuse for a human being. I can't believe the woman is a TEACHER. No wonder Christie hates us!
Her actions, to me, were more vile than Johnny Fairplay's lie.

I would kill to be on Survivor. Grrrrrrrr. Their quitting screwed up production, so of course Probst was pissed. I'm guessing that they are allowing them to be part of the jury because without them the number of final jury members would be whack.

Well, that was a load of crap. Naonka said that she doesn't care what people think about her, but that's because she hadn't yet returned home to millions of people who watched the season. She might be thinking differently now (though she won't admit it). She said she didn't decline the reward because she wanted to "go out with a bang". Since when is sitting in a chair watching a DVD going out with a bang? And Kelly? Seriously? You couldn't stay 11 more days? Methinks she knew she was on the outs considering she hasn't had a clue all season and was completely in the dark last week. She didn't want to deal with the elements any more when she knew it was far too late to start playing the game. Good riddance!
The stupidest part of the entire episode for me was Jeff's offer to let them think about it and then go to tribal council later. It was pretty obvious at least one of them was going to leave if there was a tribal council with the jury present and NO IMMUNITY CHALLENGE. Naonka had pissed off enough people and flip-flopped so much, she could have actually walked away with at least $100k if someone wanted to take her to the end thinking she'd get no votes.

Posted: 12/2/10 at 10:29amSomms, you may be right about that... but I'd rather see them bring back people who were eliminated earlier than let those two QUITTERS have a vote and a voice.

Posted: 12/2/10 at 10:41amOnce and for all, Naonka proved last night that she is a despicable person. What a piece of garbage! I sincerely hope that parents at the school where she teaches have watched the show and called for dismissal. She clearly has no integrity and should not be allowed to teach children of any age...even if it's just physical education.

Posted: 12/2/10 at 10:43amOh crap, I'm just now sitting down to watch and I wish I hadn't opened this thread now. Question, why is Kelly called Purple Kelly? I missed something along the way.
#83SURVIVOR: Nicaragua (Season 21)
Posted: 12/2/10 at 10:47amThere were two Kelly's originally. This one had some purple streaks in her hair -- Purple Kelly.

Posted: 12/2/10 at 10:55amYou should still watch it StockardFan. There was hardly any suspense to this episode. We knew from the beginning of that they were going to quit.

Posted: 12/2/10 at 11:12amWhy the hell did they still let that biotch get the reward?

No immunity challenge was shown last night, yet Jane had the necklace around her neck during tribal council...did anyone else notice that?
I wonder if they played an immunity challenge, but it just wasn't aired...so strange!

I noticed the necklace too but I assumed she just never gave it back from the last competition she had won. Usually Jeff takes it back at the challenge, since there was no challenge, she just brought it to tribal anyway. Jeff will take it next challenge, I assume.
THe more I think about it, the more Naonka pissed me off. Her whole attitude is despicable. I, too, hope there'll be a report that her school dismisses her. Teachers are expected to have a certain character - if I was a parent I wouldn't want my kid being taught (PE, of all things!) by a quitter and a nasty, selfish person like her!

UUGGHHH!!!!
I'm so pissed right now!
Fine, NaOnka, you can quit (no one liked your shamelessly selfish a$$ anyway).... but Purple Kelly too????
I felt SO badly for Alina, Marty and Brenda who had to sit there and watch it happen.... AND THEY WANTED TO PLAY!!!
And now they get the honor of being on the JURY?!?!
On another note, no one has had more perfectly beautiful pecs in a season of "Survivor" than Chase. Every time those badboys are on screen, I want to suckle.
PS: Jane was wearing the immunity necklace she wore from the last challenge she won. She probably wore it to Tribal Council not knowing HOW or IF it would come into play (better safe than sorry).
PPS: Of course Jeff Probst gets pissed and disgusted at quitters. THOUSANDS of people try-out to be on "Survivor"... it's literally a Chance of a Lifetime to play and they had made it 28 days already! (Plus, he's an Executive Producer, so there goes a week of scheduled air-time and costs)
(He's lost just the right amount of weight since coming into the game too! Now he's muscular AND lean... *swoon*)

OK -- so yes, Na'Onka is vile.
BUT, why wasn't anyone rankled at Dan, too? He didn't even play the challenge and got the reward. Whether she was going to quit or not, Na'Onka did at least contribute to the win. If anyone should have sucked it up and skipped reward for the tarp and rice, it should've have been Dan.

I thought so too, but people on the EW board were saying he wasn't actually able to -- Jeff didn't offer him the right to give it up - it was just to the players who played.
#93SURVIVOR: Nicaragua (Season 21)
Posted: 12/2/10 at 9:24pmYes, Jeff was very clear that it had to be one of the four people who participated in the challenge.
#95SURVIVOR: Nicaragua (Season 21)
Posted: 12/2/10 at 10:02pmI wondered the same thing about Dan. Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't realize it had to be one of those 4.

I admit I notice the same thing about Chase's pecs. I can't seem to stop staring at them. But over all the seasons, I would have to award Best Pecs to Ibrehem of Palau. His bod was INSANE.

Benry does not have nice things to say about Sash and I agree with him.
"I mean he's sitting very pretty. But Just, I mean he is – Just his fake laugh and the way he approached you _ he was a sh-tty liar, I feel like, and it was – I feel like people definitely saw though him. _ He was just too nice.
He’d also come up and also, I don’t know. He’s just super fake and that’s it."
