Naonka is still around because no one sees her as a threat to win a million dollars. I still don't get Jane's personal vendetta against Marty, but Marty didn't need to go into it at tribal. That was a really dumb move.

At this point, I'd like to see Brenda and Sash in the final. They are both playing the game very well and could easily split the vote allowing for the third to sneak in for a win. It would be kind of funny to see Naonka or Jane take it as a result.

I think Marty was right about one thing- if Jane gets anywhere near the finals, she'll win in a landslide.

NaOnka survives again. She didn't get one vote last night and she is guaranteed at least two more weeks since she still has the hidden immunity idol.

I'm glad Marty is gone. He was the obvious choice to vote off last night. Naonka will definitely stick around a bit longer...I think I want Fabio to go next. He is so annoying and every time he opens his mouth to speak, I feel like I'm losing brain cells.

What was that with Jane's speech about Marty being a terrible father? She is straight up CRAZY. Now that Marty is gone, she'll probably get some wild hair about someone else for some unknown reason and set her sights on them. She seems like someone who needs an enemy because she doesn't know any other strategy.

I like Brenda and think she is very smart, but she needs to keep her ego in check. Her need to control the game could put a huge target on her back when others feel she has too much control over the votes, especially as the paranoia will only increase with each week.

At this point, Naonka is so certifiably crazy that it makes sense to keep her around because no one on that jury will vote for her. She's an easy win. As much as I can't stand the woman (and would never want her "teaching" my children), they'd be dumb to get rid of her at this point.

I also can't take Jane and her annoying voice and her "proud redneck" nonsense. That act has never worked for me and it's just as irritating coming from her.

Honestly, this season has been horribly boring and predictable.

I can't stand Jane either. And I wonder if Naonka will even have a job to go back to after this show.

Jane had been very good at playing the victim. I don't buy it either. She manufactured the conflict with Marty and Jan saying they treated her like the Ugly Duckling.

Here is my take on Naonka. I actually sort of like her. I really don't think she's "crazy". I think she just came into this game with a different set of survival tools than the others, which could either help or hinder her standing in the game. She's the type who would grab a wrench to pound a nail into a board because it's closer and it gets the job done. The other might say, "Why don't you use a hammer?" To which Naonka would reply, "The nail's in the wood, isn't it? Is the nail in the wood? No...IS THE NAIL IN THE WOOD?!?! Ok then, shut up."

I think Naonka has a personality that suits her survival in her world at home, but she doesn't know how to adapt it to other social situations and the only thing she knows how to do is put up her defenses when called out on behavior that doesn't settle well with the others. She may be a bitch (though I think that is debatable), she may be self-centered, she may try to rationalize her own bad behavior, she may be a bad strategist (again, debatable because she's still there) but I don't think she's necessarily "crazy". I think she's a fish out of water and her insecurities take control of her emotions.

I'm also starting to think Naonka may not be an easy win quite so much any more. Her aggressive style may rub people the wrong way, but it's possible it could work to her benefit at the final tribal. She could either hang herself with bully tactics (Russell) or she could push through the finish line with some hard-hitting facts (Sandra). She's turning into a wild card, which is reason enough to vote her off.

I think Jane is crazy unless the editing is so poor that we simply have not seen the evidence to support her anti-Marty sentiments. She's just not making any sense and I would be afraid that I would end up on her bad side for no apparent reason. And I think Holly is a little crazy. I can't explain exactly why. It's just a gut feeling. The lady is weird. She reminds me of someone I met over the summer. It was one of those situations where what people were saying and what you were seeing just didn't add up or make any sense. Sort of like watching hippies polish their guns.

It's weird seeing whatsername on the jury because until the controversial flour jar heist which led to her expulsion, I had no idea she was a contestant.

um...remember when Holly went bat**** on like...episode two and almost volunteered to throw herself out of the game?? I still think she's the crazy one. I for one, love Jane and Chase and find them adorable even if there game play is for ****. I was over the moon to see Marty go home even though i feel he played a respectable game. He just came off way too smarmy and weird. In my dream world, Fabio, Dan (why the HELL is he still here) and Benry will get picked off one by one.I can't stand almost any of the guys and frankly hope Brenda walks away with the million. and I love that Kelly purple still has only said about three sentences this whole game.

I really am enjoying this season though.

Holly breaking down at the beginning was just one of those things that we see almost every season. I'm not sure it makes her crazy, though. Just a bit weak. She bounced back pretty well from that. It's her persona I find a bit odd. I can't quite put my finger on it.

I'm very curious what Jane will do now that Marty was gone. Her entire strategy thus far was "I'm votin' Marty no matter WHUT!". Well, he's finally gone. Now whut?

Marty was at least interesting. Pretty dull lot left, and the next several weeks are going to be incredibly predictable. Jane will be the "surprise blindside boot" that surprises no one at all, and the rest will just be watching people lie down and let Sash, Brenda and Naonka move on to the final 3. Nobody else is really even playing. Yawn.

Yes, I was happy to be so incredibly wrong in the above post :)

I'm actually somewhat interested for the first time this season as to where things go.

You gotta give it to Naonka. That was a bold move. It's funny, I hated her all season, but the last episode had me rooting that her plan worked and Brenda was voted off.

Looks like she does something stupid to anger the tribe on the next episode.

If Purple Kelly ends up anywhere near the finals I will crack up! It's like she's a crew member that accidentally gets in a couple shots.

...and I loved when Jeff asked her a question during Tribal Council, and she seemed shocked that anyone noticed her. And then, basically, had nothing to say.

If Purple Kelly has said 8 words this season, I'd be shocked.

Finally, someone did something interesting in this episode and got rid of Brenda. I just don't understand why Chase seemed so confused by the entire thing, and why he's hung up on the idea of "trust" in a game built around deception. Even Sash offered his tacit approval of the plan by not giving his idol to Brenda (and ultimately voting for her).

I actually enjoyed Naonka this week, but it looks like that doesn't last!

Brenda played too hard and got burned. I sort of called it, but did not expect Sash to be on board, knowing Brenda would be on the jury. And why is Purple Kelly still called "Purple Kelly"? Isn't she "Only Kelly" now? Or just "Kelly"? And now that Judd is officially "Fabio" (I don't think he ever caught on that it wasn't a compliment), maybe everyone should get new names! Except Naonka. You can't make that sh*t up.

Brenda said in one of her post-show interviews that before the prior TC (when Marty was voted out) she and Naonka had actually toyed with a plan to vote Sash out and he found out about it (from Naonka of course), so he didn't trust her enough to give her the idol. He probably joined the vote against her so as not to make himself the primary next target. Our wraithlike friend Kelly seemed to be the only one totally out of the loop, casting the vote for Benry.

I have this horrible feeling the final is going to come down, somehow to Dan and Kelly, two of the least worthy contestants in the history of the game.

God, imagine that finale. Would Probst be able to stay awake during that final TC?

I was done with Brenda the minute she declared that scrambling and trying to change her plan was "beneath her."
