This season's twist has been revealed: OLD -VS- YOUNG. Although I must say that judging by this photo, it's looking to be teens versus 30's. JEEZ!
Do we know if these are all new contestants or people who have played the game before?

I read somewhere there's another twist in addition to the old vs. young...

Sorry for double posting, but the show is tonight.
No gay person?
Nice to see Jimmy Johnson has found something slightly more dignified than male enhancement pill commercials. Or coaching the Dallas Cowboys.
Watch out for Kelly S...the former contestant she is most like?
Hasselcrack.
After the first episode -- so far I really like Marty and Brenda (who is easily one of the hottest contestants they've ever had).
Oh I didn't see this thread.
I actually felt really bad for Wendy. Annoying, yes. But I still thought she was sweet in that homeschooled way.
I agree - but the first vote is hard when no one's REALLY terrible right off the bat.
Jimmy J. is an interesting case -- will they carry him far because he most likely has no shot at winning, or will they dump him because he's not going to be strong in competitions/he's not really leading them well...
The only one I liked last night was Marty. He seems to have a level head...it's not just because he has a great body.
I also think Jane could be fun to watch.
What's wrong with that Jimmy T?

Shannon was one of the stupidest players ever on "Survivor." Why in the world would someone cause so much drama before a vote? None of the members on the younger tribe are smart except for Sash.
The younger team is maybe the stupidest team I've ever seen.
What thr hell was with that homophobic shlt at te end there?!?
You mean Sash, the gay, err, "the biggest bachelor in all of New York City"? What a freaking mess that tribal council was -- LOVED IT!

I am glad they got rid of that ignorant, homophobic douche bag Shannon, but I have to say that I think Naonka is horrible person. I cannot believe that she is a teacher of any kind. I'm hoping she is next to go.
^ I agree on NaOnka. She needs to go!
It'll be interesting to see how Sash plays the game..
Nanoka needs to go next. If they let her stay, she's just going to cause more problems.
That tribe was such a mess I found myself liking Fabio. That's not good.
The older tribe isn't much better. Who destroys someone's shoes? An even better question - who bring 1600 dollar shoes to Survivor???
I'm amazed that in season 34 of this show that so many players are doing such a crappy job in the game. Noone came out of that tribal council looking good.
Glad the homophobe is gone (or one of them at least).
Why I probably won't like Sash:
"Survivor Contestant you are Most Like: Tyson, because I have some great one-liners and because I'm awesome."
I don't think I would admit to being most like a delusional egomaniac with no social skills whose greatest achievement in two seasons was placing 8th.
I don't know about Sash either. I think his "I want to bring all minorities to the final" seemed contrived. I think he could care less about that. I think he was just telling Naonka something he thought would appeal to her at that time to secure her confidence.
He lists one of his hobbies as dating beautiful women. I kinda threw up in my mouth a little when I read that.
Awww.. and super nice Chase. Brenda already has him wrapped around her finger. Too naive..

HAHA.. I was thinking the same thing! Holly is just major loca! And how would those gater shoes help him in the jungle other than eating the hide?!?!
I didn't know it had already started until yesterday. I DVR'ed last night's show but haven't watched yet.
I'm glad Shannon was voted off, especially after everything that he did during tribal. That's not to say I like Sash much, either, though (I had the same reaction as Mister Matt when I read his profile on the CBS website).
NaOnka reminds me of Crystal from a few seasons back, especially when it comes to how blunt she is about her dislike for certain people. By the looks of next week's episode, she doesn't start to come off as any better.
Chase has to be one of the dumbest players this season (although he does seem sweet). He was all about voting Shannon off before Brenda even finished articulating her idea.
And Holly is insane. I still have no idea why she freaked out over the snails and what she did to Dan's (is that his name?) shoes was bizarre. And I hate players who whine and complain about how they need to quit the game one minute and then the next are talking about how they "don't want to let their tribe down" and that they "know they can get through this experience." Holly's breakdown reminded me of Kathy from a couple of seasons ago; the one who freaked out when it rained non-stop ("They only show it raining for two minutes on TV, not six hours!") and complained about everything ("I miss my washer and my dryer...and my husband").
But with all that said: if last night's tribal council was any indication, this is going to be one hell of a season!

I agree. Someone who thinks Tyson is awsome is weird.
