Say "Hello" to my Evil Twin!
#150I HATE You Deeply.....
Posted: 8/5/04 at 11:02ampapa - A cheap backwards baseball cap should suffice. But for gym purposes, it should not have the logo of a Broadway musical (with the exception of The Producers "Keep it Gay" cap, but to wear that at the YMCA would be redundant). You can use the offending bandana for extra absorption by folding or rolling it longways and stuffing it inside the rim of the cap or as a headband under the cap. I understand the importance of keeping the sweat out of your eyes, but at the gym, sweat and unkempt hair is merely a sign of a job well done. If everything were dry and in place, you would probably arouse suspicion of cruising the place and therefore subject of ridicule and/or expulsion. The only thing worse is to cruise with a do-rag.

Posted: 8/5/04 at 11:09amthat must be why mrs. mambo keeps surreptitiously removing my bandanas from my gym bag. and have no fear, i'm never dry for long at the gym.

#158The Free and Worthless papers on the street

Edie...yours are good but I have to ask:
Why does a dumbo handing out these papers for a men's suit and clothing store, hand one to ME on the street corner? Oh, right...I'll rush right over there and buy my husband a suit without him with me to try it on.
Get a clue!
Also hate websites that promise to send you the password you forgot via email and then NEVER do.
Tourists who walk in groups of 4-6 across the whole damn sidewalk during rush hour.
Dumbo tourists who stand in the middle of 5th Avenue to get a wide shot of St Pat's (YES...I've seen it happen) and nearly get hit by a car.

Jarico and I saw a man set up a tripod in the middle of the street on Broadway to take a photo of Time Square.
Also people who want to stand on the "X" where JFK was assassinated for a photo. First, it's creepy and twisted. Second, it's a very busy street with little warning for oncoming traffic.
