"I still wonder if it is just sour grapes cuz Stephen didn't get that role."
Or a date with Sean...

But who gives a flying f*ck in a rolling donut what I think?

I don't think any of us has a clue what it must be like to be in Sean Hayes' shoes. I dread the day I might become famous and have managers and others telling me to jump into the closet. I don't know WHAT I would do until I get there.
I'd like to think I would easily stand my ground and be out. And, like robbie, I don't know HOW I could go into the closet. All you hos would be on Hard Copy telling stories!!!!
But, the fact is, you can be a screaming queen and as long as you don't say, "I am gay", much of America will regard you as "refined", being completely in denial or will appreciate that you have the decency to repress your ways, thankful you aren't flaunting yourself.

eslgr8 has always had the same position about coming out. A little out is not out. I agree with him completely. His stance on this has nothing to do with Sean Hayes.
If he's famous enough to be interviewed by Vogue than he has an obligation to tell Vogue of his sexuality. "I'm out to my mom and sister" isn't out for Sean Hayes or David Hyde Pierce.

I just think Hayes is HARDLY the most despicable anything.
I would think closeted gays who wouldn't dare touch a gay role, especially a flamboyant one would be farther ahead of him.
I would think closeted gays who verbally gay bash would top the list.
I would think a certain likely closeted gay who sues at the drop of a hat would be ahead of him.

"I don't recall ever seeing Jack kiss a guy, much less bend over and take one for NBC."
Actually, Jack and Will did kiss on the show - on the episode with Al Rocker and JAck (or Will) complaining about how there has never been a gay kiss on TV...so then they kissed in front of the camera.

"If he's famous enough to be interviewed by Vogue than he has an obligation to tell Vogue of his sexuality"
I am absolutely floored by this mentality. An obligation? Really?
And I'm curious how it is that you seem so secure in the assumption that the reason he's not coming out like you feel he is obligated to is because of money?

Since when is anyone obligated to tell anyone of his or her sexuality? That's just bull****.

Yeah, but Miss Cruise is like Di2 crazy, while Hayes is like, "Oh Sean, you so crazy!" crazy.
Let's leave "despicable" for Mengele, Osama, and Scalia.

As for the Sean Hayes "kiss," come on...that's like Shandling and Garrett kissing on the Emmys...or whoever that was...
Kissing for fun, as I call it. You know, there's guys you'd like to make out with but not screw (like Elijah Wood and Max Von Essen) and then there's "just take me now" kissing, like Jake and Heath did and like I'd enjoy with Mr. Diesel. But I digress...

Posted: 1/30/06 at 3:15pmNo it was not lildogs - they were pissed that the network cut the first kiss to be aired, so they found a way of getting a male on male kiss on screen themselves. True - Jack was clueless at it's inception, but I thought it was hysterical the way it played out, and it was, indeed, a kiss between two men.

Posted: 1/30/06 at 3:17pmOh my. The point is, the kiss wasn't sexual. A kiss that doesn't have any heat behind it is hardly risky or daring. Of course, I may be projecting a bit...

No, I know what you meant. I was just playing.
Maybe the season finale will go one step further

Speaking of David Hyde Pierce...Was there ANY straight man in Spamalot besides Christian Boyle? Pierce, Azaria (just my gaydar on him), Sieber, Curry.
I was amused that the straight men who finally chose a Broadway show didn't realize a bunch of queens were onstage. And the one actor in drag was straight!

And don't forget the faggots backstage!
And by the by...the fact that none of you fags, dykes and 'heteros' don't seem to know that the 'donut' lines is actually a quote from a musical makes me ashamed of you all.
SHAME! UNCLEAN!
