This is old news that might just get ppl pissed off. It's good to use the search function, but this is kinda unnecessary. I'm not trying to be mean, but like it was said before, it's opening a can of worms.

oh, I agree with you completely..it is indeed old news. I'm sure it'll re-ignite the fire of misunderstanding once again.

But...this is what is bound to happen when we rag on people to use the search function!

We need to change it from "use the search function" to "use the search function AND make sure you have something NEW and INTERESTING to add".

Why is it that when someone like Martin Sheen, or Susan Sarandon rag on GWBush then they are exercising their rights, but when someone speaks out in FAVOR of GWB then they are some kind of demon that should be burned at the stake?

I think this thread should have been pulled. Its disgusting. That's the problem with politics and mixing it into the entertainment business. When you want politics, tune into Fox News or CNN; when you want to be entertained, turned to a Broadway show or a movie...when you want both wrapped into one, move to China.

I agree. I hate Dubya as much as humanly possible, but I hate the double standard even more.

What the Republicans put the Dixie Chicks through was disgusting, and even though I may not agree w/ Kristin's politics, it's not preventing me from enjoying or boycotting her work.

I'm sorry to have to keep this thread going.

Greg, it was one chick, and she didn't bash our troops. She said she was ashamed the President was from Texas. Personally, I'm ashamed that the President is the President, but I think it was a dumb thing for her to say and an even dumber place to say it. However, I will forever defend her right to have said it.

And she was anything but gutless.
