Mrs. Garrett was still there when they opened Over Our Heads - and were they ever!
Beverly Ann really cast a pall over the show.
This thread reminded me that season four recently came out on dvd!
I wonder if we started a Facebook campaign if we could get a Facts of Life movie. Maybe Facts of Life vs Sex and the City where the two sets of women fight each other for their lives.
Like a UFC battle or something where each group is set down in the jungle with people hunting them and whichever team has the most living members at the end wins?
And I'd only watch if Geri Jewell was in it.

As long as Sarah Jessica doesn't make it out alive we all win.

Sorry to snatch the thread away from The Facts of Life-ers, but I thought this was an interesting article about the utter f**k-ups the movie portrays about the Middle East. Missy King didn't do her research...anyone surprised?

It's the clichéd, condescending hetero fantasy, the one in which you introduce the only two gay men you know, and magically, the sparks fly. If I had a dollar every time I met a woman who said, "Oh, you're gay? You should meet my gay friend," I could probably buy a plane ticket to Abu Dhabi (or, at the very least, Buffalo). And yet, in a movie that feigns to tackle the complexities of modern romance, all a gay man needs to do to find love is be placed in the general vicinity of another gay person -- even if he's as repellent as Mario Cantone.
Heh. Bingo.

Doesn't RT take into account registered members of the website? Among top critics it just has 9%.
Metacritic has it at a 27 but their number-crunching is more complex it seems.
IMDB is showing that SATC2 made 32.1 million this past weekend. The total gross so far is 46.3 million counting Weds midnight shows and Thursday showings.
The last movie opened on a Friday and made 57.1 million in its opening weekend.
