Phyllis is a total Samantha and Matt is a Miranda. I'm a Willow. I identify to the Buffy characters way more than SATC. Can't wait to see Bitchtar already!

I used to be a lot more Samantha. Now I'm more like Julia Sweeney.
If I'm Miranda, then twinbelters is Cindy, the closeted lesbian from season one of FOL. Phyllis is totally Tootie. doodle would definitely be kiddie-porn girl. And Marquise is Sue Ann.
haha what happened to this thread?
And Calvin is Beverly Ann, but I assumed everyone knew that.
THIS SUCKED SO MUCH. I AM SO ANGRY
Only an Anthony would type in all caps.
The always fabulous Kim Voynar's take:
"Perhaps it's partly just that the women of Sex and the City have worn out their welcome, but Sex and the City 2 annoyed the hell out of me.
I'm a fan of the series, and I actually enjoyed the first Sex and the City movie (although, in retrospect, that may have also partly been due to my need for some cinematic sugar in my diet following 10 days of mostly depressing Euro protein in Cannes), but this time around, girlfriend, they lost me.
I've only walked out on one film, ever (that would be Brilliante Mendoza's ode to poverty porn, Serbis, at Cannes two years ago), since I've been working in this field -- hell, I sat through all of The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl and saw Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel three times! -- but if I hadn't had to watch Sex and the City 2 to the bitter end because I was reviewing it, I would have bolted down the hall to catch Father of My Children for the third time by about the 20-minute mark.
The problem with Sex and the City 2 is not that Carrie and the girls are getting older; hell, I'm getting older, along with the rest of the series' fans. It's that the idea of these women who live these lives of excessive privilege constantly whining about their lives was just overwhelmingly irritating to me this time around."

This time around?!!! That has always been my problem with this series. Why the fvck would anyone waste their time watching these excessively privileged whorebags moan and whine about their lives. I wanted to line them all up and bitch slap each one and tell them to grow the fvck up. This show is one of the many reasons I stopped watching television on a regular basis.
Technically, it's a pretty crappy movie. But, honestly, I had a blast. It's fun. And that's all I really wanted out of it. I had a lot of fun and laughed quite a lot. The critics were gonna hate it anyway, not that their issues with it aren't without merit.

It's harsh when McGruber - a pretty unfunny sketch when it's less than 10 minutes on TV is turned into a movie that has a RT rating which is 4x what SITC2 is
Yeah but McGruber was effin' hilarious and had me crying from laughing so hard.

15% Most of the reviews have to be in by now, so I don't think it's gonna even do a personal best of 18%.

I'm on pins and needles! If it breaks 20 percent, I'll drink my first cosmo in 3 years.

Heh. There's no way it's gonna break 20% by this point.
I had a funny review to link but I've decided to no longer acknowledge anything that blames gay men for this, as though Sarah Jessica has no control over anything.
After drinking a bit too much last night, today I am a Geri.
