I am so proud I've been strong enough to avoid this whole season. We even tivo'd it figuring if we were bored we could watch it through, but I just deleted them to make room.
For all his huffing and puffing, Phillip is a wus. All he had to do was walk over to the pot, scoop out his share of the crispy rice into his shell and walk away. What were the triplets going to do? Nothing, except tell Rob, which they did anyway. As they say; big woop. Instead we get a ten minute monologue on crispy rice/disrespect and assorted other lunacy by the cry baby.
You're right :) I'll give a few post-merge episodes a chance. And Matt is indeed the post palatable uber-Christian I've seen on a show like this in some time.
Matt hasn't uttered "Oh, my HECK!" even once. I have to give him kudos for that.

I think this season is an improvement of "Nicaragua." It's far from the best, but it's still better than last season. "Panama Exile Island" was when the show hit ROCK BOTTOM. The entire cast, except for Cirie, Sally, and Terry, all had bad morals. They were all extremley unlikeable. No wonder that was the first season where the show fell out of the top 10 most watched shows of the seasons. My teachers quit watching it too. Aras will always be the worst winner next Richard Hatch (I don't love to dislike Richard Hatch I just DISLIKE him!)
"Cook Islands" was a HUGE IMPROVEMENT over "Panama." "Fiji" was dull, "China" was too predictable (Everyone was too naive and not cutthroat enough to vote off Todd, who had been in control since the beginning). I really liked "Fans Vs. Favorites." "Gabon" and "Tocatians" were good. "Samoa" was ok and "Heroes vs. Villains" is one of my all-time favorite seasons.

Matt's (our Matt not the one on Survivor who I think is getting inexplicably more attractive to me the longer he is on Redemption Island) summation of the crispy race fracas pretty much hits on the head my feelings. Those two girls on the Omelette tribe are so annoying, like last week one the one said she worked hard all her life being in pageants and playing volleyball, so she deserved to be able to relax out there. Oy vey.
I mean, I get that they are all just basking in the benevolent beam of Boston Rob, but do anyone of them have any strategy whatsoever? Of course, this season has wasted so much air time on Rob, Russell (even AFTER his departure) and the cursed Redemption Island, so perhaps there's just stuff going on we're not seeing. Though I doubt it. Those Zamboni people all seem to do work, so I wonder if that's going to target Natalie (is that someone on this show?) and whatever the other one's name is.
Right after the merge would be the time to take Boston Rob out, if enough Zitis make it to the merge.
Phillip is just bat**** crazy, right? I tend to take crazy at face value and he seems like he's starting to give me the willies. It seems that that crazy is tethered to a fuse that's getting shorter.
Also, I know Probst wants to paint them as cursed because of throwing the challenge to boot Russell, but they won the first challenge after his departure so if God or whatever is punishing them, it's weird that the retribution didn't start right away.
God was busy attending previews of Book of Mormon and laughing his Almighty Ass off. He eventually got around to Survivor.
And why was Russell STILL in the "previously on Survivor" part last night? He was gone two episodes ago. Are they still going to find ways to show him every episode? Is he like corn on Roseanne?

Right? Because he was the baddest. villian. ever! Or whatever.
He's a three-time loser. That's all I see.
"Is he like corn on Roseanne?"
No, but he's like the chicken shirt.
In his live Tweets, Jeff seemed to be enjoying Phillip.
I'm sure he feels it makes for good TV.
I personally am growing tired of the crazy.
And, it really is time for them to retire any reference to Russell. They must think there are still alot of Russell fans out there...
I agree with Mister Matt. He's a three-time loser. Good riddance.
That said, I'm still enjoying this season...
Go Matt! He SO deserves to reenter the game!
....and, what a crazy twist of fate!
Wow, I did NOT see that coming at all!
He looks so defeated.
Not his best play...
What a moron though for telling Rob all that. Seriously, how stupid can you be?

Yeah, he should have worried a little less about honoring his God and a little more about honoring his own ass in the game.
Does this mean Andrea voted for Matt?
What a waste of the immunity idol.
What on EARTH made Ralph think he needed that idol?!

I guess he thought Mike was getting the votes. Too bad he didn't give it to Matt.
This was really the only chance to oust Rob. I really wish he'd be gone already.
There were some epic-ly stupid moves and votes tonight.
And did anyone else think the episode as a whole was just mind numbingly confusing in the last half. They seemed to edit it in a way that made it impossible to follow who was scheming with who or what anyone was planning to do.

Excellent blindeside tonight. No one saw that vote coming!
I actually thought tonight's installment was kind of dull.
Ralph is a moron. I hope he gets voted off soon.
I was so frustrated with Matt last night. Clearly a good kid but he needs to get off his moral high horse and realize that Survivor is not a morality game.
At the same, I am getting sick of Boston Rob. He is clearly just a spiteful baby to take Matt out even after Matt came clean with him. I think Matt would have been a much more effective allie than the Barbie crew.
