My dog is the love of my life. Her name is Lorna Luft, and she's been quite the comfort animal for me the last few years.
Also, she's a cat.

My puppy is an *almost* 3 year old Basenji named Cloudy (he has 2 eye conditions that he as born with that cause his eyes to look cloudy......hence the name).

Our dog is blind and basically deaf, but in good physical shape. He is 14.

I have three. 2 14 year old littermate Pomerainians and one who, I now believe, is 10. The later was a rescue. She was in a puppy mill for the first 4 and a half years of her life . In a wire cage having litter after litter. She really had no human contact or socialization. Took her almost a year to trust people. Nowthe neighborhood mother! She adores everybody!
