Whoa?! You sing at Ovations? My voice teacher has her kids sing there, too. I haven't been able to go to one yet (lol) but I know some people that do. Anyways, I get my PVA letter this Thursday or Friday and when I do I'll let y'all know!
Anyways, I was looking into auditioning for some shows at the PLAYHOUSE 1960 and was wondering what y'all thought about it/if you know anything/have seen a show there. Do they do good shows? Just curious.

their season is always interesting, MTT, and they do some neat programming. So does Country Playhouse. Make sure to let us know how HSPVA comes out.
MATTHIUS, if that is you in your avatar, you need to get to Houston more often. Certain places in town, you would be VERY popular.
MTT, is Deb Boily your voice teacher? i have heard her students sing at Ovations sometimes.
QTBOO, tell us more about your recital thingy.
MARILYN, i hereby apologize for all the jokes Houstonians make about Baytown and how it smells (literally). i've actually been to see a friend in a production at Baytown Little Theatre, and it was pretty good, and their space was not bad, and their seasons are sorta interesting. Things could be worse! And you're closer to Houston than MATTHIUS, at least...

Posted: 4/4/05 at 9:51pmoh yeah, and FYEODOR, i'd think you'd enjoy Houston for the Ballet and Opera alone. Any time you visit again, i'd be happy to serve as your "walker" (if the lovely Madame Fyeodor must remain home).
