The brand is Healthy Choice.

It comes in a plastic container/tub and you can get it in the pre-packaged lunch meat section at your grocery store.

It's thinly sliced, but 7 slices makes a decent size sandwich.

There's also "Hillshire Farm"

Do you guys have Weight Watchers bread in your supermarkets? They make 1 pt english muffins that are yummy.

The WW bread is great---2 slices is 1 pt.

And, can we have another round of cheers for those AMAZING 1pt snacks they make!?!? Lemon, Carrot cake, and chocolate HEAVEN!

Do you guys find the Weight Watchers food expensive? I'm interested, but I'm doubtful I can afford it!

The nutritional info is:

7 slices = 60 calories, 1.5 Fat Grams.

I plugged it into my spreadsheet with the weight watchers formula and it comes out to 1.

Here is a picture of the packaging. I couldn't find it online anywhere so I took one of my own turkey and ham:

Well, you don't have to buy special food. You eat regular food. They just make products that help.

Yes, WW's food is pretty expensive and the only WW brand food item I have bought is there cookies n' cream ice cream bar 1 point, baby!! And they are delicious.

You just have to look on the back of food items at the calories and total fat. If it is high, put it down and try something else. That is what I have been doing and I have not counted points in about a month and I am down over 15 pounds.

It is a bit pricey...but no more than junk food in the grand scheme of things Allie.

Ooooh, Jerby you found the weight watchers cakes in NYC? Where did you get them? Maybe I won't have to ship them to Clay and Sara afterall. Stephen, welcome to the Two-Ohs!

Allie, WW food is mostly just normal food, you do not have to buy the special stuff. Stephen, welcome to the Two-Ohs!

I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

Well. I get them at my Key Foods in Astoria--30th Ave. I think they have them elsewhere. I wish Fresh Direct had em. I should buy them by the case.

And, you can eat foods that are high in fat and calories, you just have to budget it into your day/week. You can easily use naughty foods when you use smaller portions of them--1/4 of a pint of B&J ice cream instead of the whole thing at once.

Spider, I am enjoying a cookies and cream ice cream bar as I type. All of the weight watchers and smart ones ice cream products I have tried have been wonderful. Smart Ones has a chocolate chip cookie dough sundae that is marvelous, but 4 points so they must be eaten sparingly.

I may have to make a special trip to Astoria for snack cakes!

I am not a big fan of the Smart Ones lunches, though. I had a couple and threw them away after one bite. I much prefer Lean Cuisines. Also, there is an italian frozen lunch franchise called "Michelangelos" and they have a chicken parmasean on top of speghetti and let me tell you, it is just like restaraunt quality and it's only 6 points. I eat those once a week for lunch.

Two Things

WW online has a lot of 1-2 point dessert recipes that are yummy.

Is anyone else here obsessed with strawberries? 1 3/4 cup for1 point!

I decided to restart on Weight Watchers Flex Points on Saturday after being really successful with it last year (I lost 18 pounds really quickly but then got really stressed and stopped paying attention to my diet), but that night I came down with the flu and have eaten very little... Not the most healthy way I wanted to start my diet. I'm hoping to lose 10-20 pounds by May.

Am I cut out to spend my time this way?

Just wondering what all you are doing for your exercise?

I used to spend a lot of time at the gym, but had to drop the membership when I got laid off. I haven't really gotten back into a routine because the show I've been working on has been very dance heavy and I've been getting sufficient cardio that way. The show is closing soon and I need to start working out again.

tae bo is great for earning points. A half hour is 4. An hour of low impact aerobics is 2 I think. I'd rather earn more in less time!
