Posted: 9/6/12 at 6:39pmDid you all hear the speculation on MSNBC last night by Chris Matthews and some of the other commentators? In general, they said that Bill Clinton is supporting Obama to the hilt now because he wants Obama to win and then conclude his second term with the economy back on track, to pave the way for Hillary as the 2016 nominee, who Obama will then back as Bill is backing Obama now. I know many have made similar speculations, but I was surprised that Matthews and O'Donnell would be so emphatic about it. Hillary has already said she will step down as Secty of State before the end of Obama's second term. That would give her time to organize, etc., and one of the pundits said that her fundraisers and heavy financial backers have already been notified by the Clintons to get ready. Would that not be great to have both of the Clintons back in the White House again!

Posted: 9/6/12 at 6:47pmClinton's speech was so spot on. This guy has a gift for public speaking...so effortless and an honesty that goes straight to the point. I would vote for him again without hesitation and Michelle totally moved me to tears during her speech. What an amazingly human, down to earth woman - - - and she's a politician?!! Obama and Michelle are so blessed to have each other...they are a true inspiration and I hope and pray that a second term for the both of them is on the horizon. This country needs them.

The terrific Zach Wahls just spoke. Most people remember this speech but he is backing Obama and directed comparison with his family of two mothers with Mitt Romney's family.

Everybody should watch this speech by John Lewis. Voter suppression is something that seems under the radar.

Posted: 9/6/12 at 9:20pmJust watched John Kerry's speech. Oh, Bob Shrum. It truly takes a special kind of talent in incompetence to make one of the most astute minds in foreign policy in the Senate to punt on the issue in 2004 to a POTUS who embodied 'cowboy diplomacy'. Not saying he would be a good President, just that he surrounded himself with people who willingly made his campaign shark chum for Karl Rove.

Kerry had too much integrity to get down to Bush's level. That's why he lost. Glad Democrats learned their lesson.

I wonder if Romney will even consider any debates. I'm sure there will be a list of topics they can't bring up (Tax returns, Strapping a Dog on top of the car, Bain, offshore accounts, outsourcing jobs, etc.)Would not be surprised if Romney Campaign demands to see all questions prior to the debate. There is no way I would let a candidate like Romney go up against Obama without a long list of conditions. Obama does not even have to try. Mitt is on vacation all this week being coached on debates I hear.
So yeah, I am also ready for the debates.

The debates are as follows. Three presidential debates, on October 3, 16, and 22, moderated by Jim Lehrer, Candy Crowley, and Bob Schieffer, respectively. One VP debate on October 11, moderated by Martha Raddatz.
Can't wait to see them! John Kerry's speechwriter should participate in the Obama/Biden debate prep. Great one-liners tonight!

Mitt Romney's debate history is known to be aggressive, an offense is a good defense kind of deal. I think this could be a fun debate, mostly because Romney had only his Massachusetts gubernatorial run to face a Democrat and his only real competition in the debates was Newt Gingrich who is like the tallest short person.
I really would love questions of foreign policy. Democrats for the first time in a long time have the ball in their court in media perception and public perception on national defense.
