Thanks to Madonna, but grrrl?

"Sorry not just as a fan (I am the first to say she ain't the best singer) but I thought Madonna sounded pretty good."
You should maybe clean the potatoes out of your ears.
Somebody needs to give Madonna permission to be normal. She feels like she still needs to be Madonna.
Love her, but somethin's wrong there. Off key, I expect that....but
Borstal, I'm not even joking when I tell you that I have tears running down my face from laughing so hard.
My job is done here, good night one and all.
Not really Namo, I thought her harmony with her Mary was great. And I don't think the cane is for show, she hurt her ankle this week.
Beautiful moment...stolen by Madonna's cane. Way to go Madge!

Madonna was absolutely ATROCIOUS. Jesus Christ, she ruined that touching moment tribute. We should all be embarrassed that she has been chosen as some kind of pseudo-celebrity representative for our cause. Why, Madonna? Why? Queen L could have just sung....

Oh, harmony, yes, RIGHT!

Why oh why did she not seize the moment and roll around the floor in a wedding dress again? You know, without singing?
Damn! Paul Williams didn't wear his Phantom of the Paradise garb?!

That awkward moment when Taylor Swift thought she won...

It's because "Red" begins with the same consonant as "Rrrrrandom Access Memories."
^ That man sitting to her right is hilarious.
Love that Paul Williams got to speak on stage. 'Touch' was the best track on the album for me. I'd watch that version of Her based on that song.
Yoko dancing and Taylor dancing were life-giving in an over-long ceremony, so I won't hate on them tonight (not that the former deserves it, just seems like a popular internet thing to do for others).
Again, I think Kendrick Lamar not winning a single thing for that album just goes in a long, weird history the Grammys have toward hip-hop. It's not a Tribute Album beating Kanye for Album of the year level of egregious but there's just as much if not more socially conscious lyricism and weight in G.O.O.D Kid, M.A.A.D. City as there is in The Heist.
Apparently Madonna has had a cane in hand due to injury. But I don't know, was the world pushing for her to have just a minor part in that song? And yes, the grills are just....
And yes, Namo, I really hate 'Royals', just like I hate 'Thrift Shop' for the same reasons. Frank Ocean's 'Super Rich Kids' proved yes, hip hop is actually pretty self-aware at its own ridiculousness, hollowness, and emptiness while actually being a really good non-ironic song.

Paul Williams gave a really funny AA talk.
I know Madonna looked ridiculous, but, oh Lord, Pharell's hat? He looked like Smoky the Bear.
The Grammys -- at least in the major categories -- are basically a celebration of mediocrity and/or ubiquity. I guess that explains how James Blake could lose Best New Artist to, well, anyone. I'm sure he doesn't give a toss, though and can console himself with his Mercury Prize.
The Madonna bashing on here is so funny, she sounded fine and the press seem to have loved it and more importantly the team involved in that performance should be incredibly proud, it was a great moment.
Sadly not much else on the Grammy's kept me attention. And if you wanna talk about bad singing (or just carrying on bashing Madonna for the sake of it) Pharrell and Stevie were atrocious.
