My folks thought it was pretty cool that their favorite band, Chicago, performed.

^ It's just too bad they had to have Robin Thicke there with them.
And I love you, Pink. I really fvcking love you. (But I love Colt Prattes even more).

I wish Lorde had performed Team or Tennis Court instead.
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

Taylor Swift looked gorgeous, but I was waiting for her head to fly off during that whiplashin' piano perf.

Is now an okay time to bring up that "Royals" is kinda racist?

I wish just once Robin Thicke would perform only to have Shirley Manson storm the stage and kick him in the balls.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

That was beautiful, but I wish more camera time was directed to the couples getting married.
I also wish Carole King sang more of HER song, rather than just 32 bars.
The most awkward part of the evening is when "Radioactive" finished. It electrified the house....then suddenly there was a transition to a country song. That was rough.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Yes, that was a good moment until she showed up.
What is up with her outfits tonight? She looked like the Quaker Oat Man in the black ensemble.
