Okay, so the responses on this thread are still not showing up, therefore I cannot edit my own post to add to it.
ANYWAY, polly - that story that Sherie told about (I think it was her cousin?) was so sad. I was amazed that she could perform after telling it. What she said was funny though, "three strikes and you're out, and boy was he ever" hehe
I didn't know a DVD of that even existed misschung. Where did you manage to come across it?
The video brina posted seems to have been made private. I'm assuming it showed Adam recently, right? What was it?
yes, it was about her cousin i believe. you are right, it was very sad.
I thought Adam's intro was kinda funny and sweet too. "Hello, kiddies. Is this fun or what?" and then he said that Sherie was "one of his favorite people in the world." and then "it was a great way for me to worm my way back into singing another song." lol
sweetdisaster-it showed a glimpse of Adam walking by. His blonde hair was really noticeable.

It was really short, you didn't miss much except the very bleached blond hair. Didn't the girls in the video say "Welcome back" and he was like "now they're gonna faint" or something? Or did someone else say that?
i dunno if he said anything to them but they did say welcome back to him. and then went all giggly. not that i can say for sure i would have been different lol. but honestly if they didn't tell you it was him, you couldn't tell. all you could see was his back. blond hair, white t-shirt and backpack. that's it.
I don't think he said anything-I didn't hear his voice. But he did look back towards the end...

Oh, then it must have been someone else who was like "now they're gonna faint."
I still don't understand what those girls were doing sitting out there with those puppets...
i don't think he would have said something like that. I think, if anything he would have just said thanks and kept walking like he did. the whole "now they're gonna faint" thing sounds a bit, well, rude to me and I don't think he'd say something like that. granted i don't know him but he just doesn't have the reputation of being rude.
...sounds like an interesting video.
From what I've read, it seems like one of the employees at the Nederlander said that to Adam.

It was the Rent wardrobe/hair guy who said the "now they're going to faint" line. I think Adam only said "hi" and walked away.
That seems about right.
I wonder if this is going to affect Adam when he decides whether to stage-door or not...
that makes more sense. although i have to wonder about the puppets too. i mean did they really anticipate getting bored and actually bring stuff to make paper bag puppets with them? did they make the puppets ahead of time and bring them with them?? i need details here lol
Puppets when you're bored? My friend actually got bored last time we saw Rent, while we were waiting for it to start, but she just played Tetris on her phone. And I just read the Playbill.
Puppets is an interesting twist on things.
Adam can be pretty snippy. It's kinda fun to watch him snap at the crazies. I don't see why the contents of this video would impact whether or not he signs autographs. I guess you mean the fangirls, or something, but really, he knows what to expect.
I have the funniest image in my mind of Anthony literally dragging him out of the Nederlander Theater to stagedoor. :P
there's a difference between crazies and giggly fangirls. I wouldn't think that those girls would affect whether or not he stagedoors.
And GG- thanks so much for that image lol. you truly made my night. I'm gonna keep thinking about that and giggling all night now.
I had a very odd dream last night about Adam sitting next to me at Gypsy on Friday. We didn't speak, but he was sitting next to me. Very strange.
Pretty pictures from the Elton John thing. Oh how do I love listening to that song!
Don't you love having weird dreams about Adam? I had the weirdest one with him, Anthony, and Jesse the other night where they were saving a puppy. I should probably not drink caffeine before bed. :P
ok one for Tink. From her favorite part
When he yells Damn It!:)
That wasn't my favorite part, but I did love it! :)
I love Adam's face in that picture!
oh well, you were talking about it earlier this week so i figured it was :)
trust me i probably have your favorite part though lol. like i said before I took over 40, ended up keeping over 30

someone saved, someone saved, someone saved my life tonight....
love that part, ha.
Okay, so it wasn't Adam who said that. I wasn't sure, but it was funny nonetheless. Were those girls stagedooring in anticipation of seeing Adam? Because they didn't even seem excited when he came out, they stayed seated and everything. I am so confused by people's motives.
Whatever, I'm still stagedooring next week. Anthony will walk out and turn expectedly to Adam, and there will be no one there, lol
