I'm glad you had fun, Tink! Sorry you missed Adam. I'm really happy that the stagedoor seems consistently calmer. How funny about Adam bumping into that girl - never a dull reaction when it involves Adam Pascal, lol.
Did you stay to get their autographs? That's so odd that they only let one person out at a time. I could see separating Adam and Anthony maybe, but not everyone else

Yeah... at this point, Adam continuing to blow off the prepubescent girls at the stagedoor is just looking bad on his part. But hey, not my problem!

I posted some of the stagedoor pics on the main board thread.
Man, the poster in front of the theater is such a tourist attraction, lol. Lines of people waiting to take a pic with the poster (not the SOL stage door montage, the press photo in the case). What was VERY disturbing were the people writing on the walls, and then taking pictures of what the wrote! Come on people. These weren't 12 y/o kids, they were adults! Have some decency and respect!

There's even writing in between the doors, on those thin parts. I don't know if its a conscious choice they're making not to paint over it, or if they just dont feel like it.

Honestly, at this point, I don't even necessarily blame the people who are writing on the front of the theatre. Hopefully it crosses their minds that it might not be entirely appropriate, but it's difficult to reinforce that point when there are hundreds of other signatures on that wall. Since so many people have done it without repercussions, it probably seems like an acceptable thing to do to newcomers. It doesn't help that some people probably assume the front of the theatre is actually the famed "wall."

I've now seen the show from the right, center and left, orchestra and mezzanine, but not those lotto seats. I really have to try for that, I think. Having heard from several people now that the cast has been electric in the last few performances, I have to believe that they have truly gelled and caught fire.

I posted a review of yesterday's matinee in the Welcome Home thread on the Main Board.
It was amazing! They exceeded my expectations, and I think my best friend has a crush on Adam. He sounded awesome, and he did look very good...
I'm holding out hope that one day I'll meet him, though it probably won't be during Rent. I did meet Anthony, though, and he was sweet.

I noticed that, just by Adam's facial expression (aside from his voice) you could tell what he was feeling. He was very good at connecting with the audience and getting his emotions across.

He really is. The last time I saw it, he was much more emotional during Goodbye Love, too. There were lots of tears.
Also, has there always been a kiss at the end of Your Eyes? I remember there being a hug before Mimi "dies" but never a kiss.
