I just realized while watching it this past Saturday that Benny is one of the dancers during Contact. I was like, how did I not notice this before?

I also paid close attention to Mimi during ICY:R like told to, and yes she really does act sick and it is very moving.

I did notice Tamyra staring at Adam during Rent. Her eyes were actually following him pretty intensely. I've always taken it that it was intentional when she comes to his door.

I noticed Tamyra looking sick as Mimi during ICY:R as well, which I had never seen anyone else do before.

Adam seemed to have good chemistry with Troy Horne as well. They hugged a few times on stage.

I like hearing all these little details. Because I just saw the show once, it was impossible to notice all the little things; rather, I was just trying to absorb the performances.

I've seen a bunch of Rogers and Collinses do the hugs - it may be part of Act 2's blocking.

Ariella, it's so hard to absorb everything even after multiple viewings. Mimi does act sick during the ICY Reprise - and even a bit during SOL, I thought. Tamyra's very good at expressing that, I think.

they hug a few times throughout the show. I love their interaction, but what I noticed this past time is a step up in Roger/Angel hugs, looks, etc.

This cast, in particular, is pretty good when it comes to chemistry. They all, for the most part, interact with each other.

I've been searching for discounts to Rent, which is the only way my mom will go.

You can definitely tell that all the members of the current cast get along really well both on and off the stage. Their chemistry is the most believable out of any cast I've seen in a while (with the exception of Justin and Troy on most nights.)

If anyone is going to lotto tonight, look for me. I'm small, brown hair, and I have on a black dress. If all else fails, shout out my user name.

I also noticed that Justin and Troy don't have much chemistry, which makes the Act 2 scenes a bit odd, on Collins' part.

With Adam and Tamyra, I Should Tell You is such a sweet moment, the sweetest I've seen.

I didn't think that Justin and Troy had much chemistry either. I Should Tell You is great, I'm still not crazy about the way they exit - it still has that silly feel to it. But I just figure that they're giddy and happy and that's the reason they chose to do it that way. I love the part when Mark hands them their jackets too - so cute.

btw I just turned on the X Files before, and it was the episode with Anthony, lol

The only thing that bothers me is that, during La Vie Boheme B, it didn't seem like they were kissing when Anthony said they were sharing a "small, lovely kiss". It seemed more like Adam was just leaning into her neck.

I don't start until next week, but I've been at school for sports for the past 3 weeks, so it feels like it started ages ago. Why is the summer so short?

I think my summer officially ended after Rent did on Saturday...

It's weird. I only have classes two days a week this semester, and I'll be in NYC the rest of the time. I don't feel like I'm at school really, minus the six roommates thing.

College can be a terrific experience - I hope it is for all of you.

Here's a heads up for anyone thinking about going to Rent on October 6. According to someone who works with Larry, Adam WILL be at the NACA conference on that day, and therefore not perform at the matinee.

GuitarGirl - It's the "National Association for Campus Activities." I think it's a showcase of sorts for artists who are looking to be booked at college campuses throughout the US. Adam and Larry are performing at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference in Lancaster, PA, which I believe serves, obviously, Pennsylvania and the states surrounding it.
