No. They only care about stuff if it's in their town. That's what all the comments seem to be about on his guestbook. Who cares if Adam is doing different concerts and events to advance his career- "COME TO MY TOWN ADAM! I WANT TO HEAR GLORY AGAIN!"

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I was supposed to go to bed at 2am, but I figured out how to add wallpapers and ringtones to my new phone and now I'm cropping in Photoshop and editing in Wavepad like a fiend.

All the Adam pictures I've resized seemed too creepy and were not added, though this makes a pretty good phone wallpaper:

The text on the phone seems to perfectly frame Daphne's craziness.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

We appreciate everyone's interest in the show and Adam's involvement. Just wanted to clear up a few things... there are actually 6 members of the new ALIVE IN THE WORLD cast (2 were added since NYMF 2006). The sixth cast member (portraying Kate) will be announced very shortly. Adam is playing the artist and Lea is playing one of the 2 new roles (a high school senior). Melissa Errico is playing Stella, the role originated by Kelli O'Hara at NYMF. Daniel Reichard is playing the other new role.

The ticket website will be updated soon to reflect each of the sections. For example, the top ticket ($250) includes a post show reception with the cast, VIP gift and premium seats.

It ranges from $65 to $250... this concert event is a benefit for The Twin Towers Orphan Fund. There are only a very limited number of $250 tickets. The rest are $65, $100 and $150.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Oh, I know it's a benefit. I was just saying that it's tempting to buy one of the $250 tickets for the reception, VIP seats, etc re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I will likely be buying one of the cheaper tickets, though.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

As much as it is obviously one of my missions in life to get drunk with Mr. Pascal, I so do not have that kind of money. I'm definitely going to go to the concert, though. Which may mean I forego Me and Larry, but we'll see.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Thanks, AliveInTheWorld. Is the only difference between the $65, $100, and $150 seats the seat location (and no other "perks")? I don't have much of a choice anyway because I'm a student, but I'm sure some others would like to know.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Heh. You'd be better off skipping the Me and Larry show and seeing this anyway, regardless of ticket cost.

I will definitely be going, I just have to see with whom. Sounds pretty exciting.

Wow, you know what? That is all kinds of exciting. I really, really love Goodman's work, and I like very much what I've heard of Alive in the World. WHY can't it be two weeks later?

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

It does sound like an exciting event. I'll be glad to hear him singing something new. It's been a while since he's done something like this, and I've been able to see it.

I'm sorry if I'm just confused or am missing something in the other post, but as of right now is the role of Kate still not cast?

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Not definitively. I can really only afford one trip during the winter/spring (actually, I can't really afford that, but you know), and since the Sunday in the Park with George revival is something I'd been hoping to see since it first opened in London, it'll have to be after that opens on the 25th. I'd originally planned to go the weekend before that, but the first previews were pushed back. It would've been really nice if Alive in the World had fallen a little later.

As often as I'm tempted to travel to New York, I might as well move there.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Sounds like a plan, Ashley!

And yes, I gather that the actress playing Kate is not listed as yet, but will be announced shortly. Marcy Harriell played her in 2006, which casts quite a different light on the part. I wonder if they're trying to get her back, in which case we'd be seeing a former Roger/Mimi pair.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Marcy is on the short list of female performers whose voices I just happen to love, along with Celia Keenan-Bolger and Melissa Errico.

And Will Chase will be back on stage, too? Wow -- you don't check BWW for one day! Oh, it's a private reading.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I'm pretty sure I'm going, since I think the "Me and Larry" show near me is already sold out.

I can only afford to do this since it's right after my birthday re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Considering they've recast every other role from the previous workshop and apparently rewritten the show, I don't think Marcy would be involved again.

I know what you mean, Ash. I'm trying to time my next trip so I can see Sunday, Next to Normal, Dead Man's Cell Phone and The Homecoming all in one weekend. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2
