Actually, things have calmed down considerably since that first week, and the guestbook has been moved off the main page. I think it being there inspired some of the nuttiness.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Maybe the girl from Anthony's reading is posting in Adam's guestbook, too.

My water has been shut off since noon thanks to a pipe that burst directly under my apartment, and the man that came to turn off my water barged in on me attempting to get dressed. So much for knocking. Luckily, the pipe is below me and not above, otherwise I would have a huge hole in my ceiling right now.

"Waving to Adam with a drink in my hand is not worth the extra $50-100."

...I think watching Lexi with a drink in her hand around Adam would be worth the extra $50-100. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Meow to the reply on Cybele's blog. I'm also pleasantly surprised that the lollypop guild regulars on Adam's page haven't migrated over there. And I agree with Chloe - some crossover is good. After all, he wouldn't link to her blog from his site if she wasn't okay with it (at least I hope!).

Regarding tickets - it wouldn't be fun to mingle with Adam by myself. I'd be too shy and awkward, and if alcohol were involved, I'd probably just end up embarrassing myself re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Now that I've been in situations where I've had to hold my own with him, the idea doesn't frighten me as much as it would have a while ago. But, yeah, I don't know enough about how alcohol effects me to trust that I wouldn't blurt out some embarrassing drunken truths or like, grab his butt.

Why? What was the Chess after party like?

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

yes, definatly more low key. I just meant the fact that the actors were kept seperate from the rest of the people, not that I wanted to chat it up with them, but you could barley even catch a glimpse of them. (except Raul, who I think spent the entire night leaning against a railing) (well by entire night I mean the hour before I got to drunk to know who Raul was) hehe If I hadent seen Adams Mom and Wife going into the place I would swear he wasnt even there.

Aw, Raul. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2 He should've gotten smashed or something.

I guess I can sort of understand that at such a big party, though. Otherwise they'd get mobbed and not be able to enjoy the party, since so many fans were likely there. I've never been to the kind of thing where you pay extra to go to a reception, but I've been to several manageably-sized industry parties. At smaller things, like I'm assuming the Alive in the World party will be, from what I've heard and experienced, anyway, there's room for mingling.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

RIGHT! There really wernt that many fans there, but the ones that were looked like they were ready to pounce at any moment. Some guy in a suit outside of the show gave my friend and me his tickets because he wasnt going, but if I remember correctly the tickets were very expensive! Most of the fans, shockingly, were Josh Grobin fans. I have a picture of Raul and his railing somewhere, I should dig it out for you. I know that this was a big deal event and probly alot different than others, but I can't see myself spending money on something like that. Although if tickets were to find me again.....

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I'd hope that the people willing to spend the extra money on an after party would be able to handle themselves in that environment. Unfortunately, I think of a lot people (and parents) are quick to spend the extra money just so they can mingle/meet actors, like how they spend $5000 for a walk on in Rent. And if Adam doesn't go, he's a jerk. That's not what the after party is about.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

lol. Is he like, standing around brooding? Because that's the best kind of Raul.

Agreed, Jenna.

Oh my God, you guys. I had an exam this morning, I have another one in an hour, and then when it's over, I have to write a 15 page paper that's due at 4:00 tomorrow afternoon. I got like five hours of sleep last night. And I swear, I am losing it.

Good luck with all your work! I have a lot to do also, and we should both get off the net. (I have come to truly believe in internet addiction, because I have it.)

Regarding the reception, at the very most it would have about 90 audience members, so not nearly the mob scene some of these things are.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

And just to prove my point, I couldn't make myself get off before I posted this quote from Tracie Thoms. Her interview was mostly about Cold Case, but she touched on Rent also:

Q) Do you keep in touch with your former Rent castmates?

A) I absolutely do. I went back to New York City recently and saw Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal, who were back on Broadway in those roles for a limited time. I went to see them and we hung out. It was great to see them! I've spent the last few New Years Eve parties with Jesse L. Martin. He throws these great New Year's parties so I've gone to them like the last two years. We talk every now and then. I hang out with Wilson [Jermaine Heredia] out here in LA. Rosario [Dawson] and I just did Death Proof together. We went to Cannes together and I see her when ever she's in town. We try to keep in touch. I talked to Idina [Menzel] who is doing her album and touring. It's really great because I had another situation where I feel like I added on to my family.

She's extraordinarily likeable, and I think Adam can have a sort of stealth bomb virus effect sometimes. You don't know you're infected until it's too late.

Please do re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I don't know, it's tempting to spend extra money on this, but with my luck he would cut out early and I'd be standing there like an idiot. I don't know, I'm too busy and stressed to decide right now - give me another few weeks re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I almost ended up with a ticket to the Brilliant Mistake party. A friend had one and wasn't sure if he could go, so if he couldn't, he was going to give it to me. He ended up being able to, though. I think that would've ended up at the top of my list of Awesomely Awkward Events.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I know it is certainly normal in this realm, but I guess it feels most weird for me to have to pay. Most things like this I have been able to go to have been at an invitation of someone. To actually pay, while all money does go to charity, to essentially just try to mingle with "stars" seems very creepy to me. It doesn't seem genuine to me. But like I said, this can be a very normal and accepted thing. I guess if I was going with a group and was more of a purpose to just hang out with each other, but just me by myself? I'd be hiding in a corner somewhere, lol.
