Right, he was out of Rent for three days (but only two perfs), though I don't recall knowing where he went during that time.

hmmm, I dunno. Didn't he come back with the hurt wrist? Or did that just happen on a random no show day?
I am going to give it another listen later, but on first listen, the first few seconds was his normal sexy growling roger type voice but then it just went wrong. Hopefully on second listen I am proved wrong.

The wrist thing was pretty near to the end. I saw the show just after Adam had been gone (I remember panicking that he might be out), which was at the very end of September, I think. I can't remember if his wrist was wrapped at that point, and I don't have pictures from that day.

I think I heard that the wrist injury had happened much earlier back in LA, and gotten aggravated somehow near the end of the run.

I think the words are posted here a page or two back, Tink.
That time is something of a blur, and of course the part of the thread covering it got lost in the big BWW deletion, so I guess it's a permanent blur.

Both he and Tamyra were out on the 25th and 27th of September (Tamyra was out on the 28th as well). I think a couple people said that they were doing something together (something professional, kiddos!), but no one ever seemed to get official word as to why they were out. And yes, I think someone posted that Adam said the wrist injury happened a while before his stint in Rent while he was doing something for his kids, but he aggravated it again during his time in NY.
And Adam Pascal is so hardkore with "Not An Egg Anymore" I almost can't stand it. I actually thought he sounded great, but it's not the type of singing voice I'd imagine such a cute dragon to have!

the episode of Law & Order where Jesse gets shot so he can leave to do the RENT movie is on. It's so sad I know these things now, lol.

I did have the disclaimer that I could have been completely wrong, lol. I have horrible hearing. Chris still won't let me have the remote back. But there is some type of screaming high note, right? I'm not going crazy?

Oh yes, there is a very high note, but it sounds fine to me, something to rival the high notes in Flying Home or Under Pressure.

well as long as he feeds people with at least some new material at the upcoming shows it should hold us over. Maybe something will happen with the release of either Goyband or American Primative.
I am excited about Alive in the World. It is my first chance to see him do something new...outside his solo material.

DVR? That is a possibility. I don't think you can record anything other than normal channels onto a regular DVD player.
