Did something go on with Larry? Everyone seems to be so down on him for a while now. Last year this time, everyone seemed to be loving him.
I think with the newer concerts and the newer songs, the complete saturation of Larry's influence on the music has reached disheartening levels. While I would never claim that Larry is without talent, I find his songwriting style lacking (and pretentious) and it's showing in the dirge-like quality of the newer material.
"The winds around here change faster than Adam's hairstyles."
That made me laugh!
It's not that I don't like Larry, but I don't like his influence over Adam. I mean, it's okay to have a little influence, but this much is too much. After all, we know what Adam can do on his own, and he is a musician with or without Larry. He doesn't really need Larry. I think there needs to more more of a balance of influence, rather than Larry's being dominant in most of the new songs.

Thanks for the pictures. You did a great job as usual. I don't think he looks terrible but I prefer his hair longer, as I'm sure I've said already. Sorry you didn't have a better time.
Forgive me if I am bringing up something old, but did that piece on Adam ever air on Fuse? I remember reading about it being filmed, but never really heard anything else about it.
There hasn't been much talk of that doc in a while now. I know they originally said January, but last I heard, it'd been pushed back.
I think that most of the comments that've been made around here are pretty joking, although I can totally see where they could be seen otherwise. On the other hand, if you're in the industry, maybe you should be able to deal with that kind of criticsm and all the other bad stuff. I don't have to deal with it, so maybe it's easier for me to say that. I legitimately think Larry's very talented, but also, it's not surprising that many long time fans of Adam's aren't digging the new music when it's such a departure from his old sound. It seems like a natural human reaction to blame the only change, and in this case it's Larry, whether it may be right or wrong. It's BWW, and I don't think anything here should be taken too seriously.
That was very sweet of him. Not only was Heath's performance in Brokeback amazing, but he was great in The Patriot as well. To bring this all back around in a six degrees of Kevin Bacon kind of way, the girl who plays Heath's youngest sister in The Patriot is one of the sisters in American Primitive.
... does that surprise you? The entertainment industry is ridiculous incestuous, and it's really easy to link people. That's why we DO the whole six-degrees thing.
