Sometimes, I kind of want to be that person who sets the class lab rats free.

sometimes I kind of wanted them to try to get me to do a frog dissection or something, so that I could be the kid that set the frogs free.

Heh, sorry to out you for your mouse, it was just the first example I could think of other than dissection.

Lab dissections are not my favorite thing. Last year we had to do the pig one and I just felt awful for the animals. They all came in mini plastic body bags that we had to open and start dissecting ourselves. I was very uncomfortable with the whole thing; but like others said, you don't want to be the outcast you know? Though there was one girl who refused to do it because of her vegan lifestyle; which is totally fine with me. The problem now is she's been following me around school pouting in my face that I wear a leather jacket. It's like look, you have you're lifestyle and I've got mine. I really like this jacket because it keeps me warm and it's sweet that I found it at a thrift store. Do I push you to eat meat? No. Then don't force me to give up my jacket I love because it goes against you're ways.

we dissected a worm and a frog in 7th grade biology. actually makes me reconsider taking that college biology class now that i think about it. and my daughter actually does do the fist in eye thing when she cries. but she's only 6 months old and she usually only cries when she's tired so i expect she'll outgrow it.

Here's a non dairy vodka sauce recipe. I have a friend that makes it and it's pretty tasty.

3 14.5 oz cans stewed tomatoes
3 1/2 cups plain soy milk
1 small onion, diced
8 cloves garlic, minced
1 t dried basil
1/2 t dried oregano
1 t salt
2 T vodka
black pepper to taste

Cook soy milk over medium heat until it reduces to 2 cups. Puree tomatoes in blender or food processor. Add milk and blend until well mixed. In large skillet cook garlic in a bit of olive oil for about a minute, then add tomato mixture and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. If it starts to sputter, reduce heat. Add basil, salt and oregano, cook for 5 minutes. Add vodka, simmer 5 more minutes then add pepper. Serve over your favorite pasta. Serves 4

You're welcome. I don't have any food alleries and can eat anything, so was convinced this was just going to be awfull made without cream or cheese, but I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted it...

See the thing is I love the vegetarin lifestyle. Last year I was ovo-lacto veg. for about 3 months; but unfortuantely I became very sick as a result of it and I had to stop. I hope to continue with it once I enter college and make my own meal plan choices, but we'll see how it goes.

And that GIRL. My God, not only does she bother me about my coat/other things; she's been following me around like a neglected puppy for the past 3 weeks. I'm honestly the type of person who is open to anyone joining my friend circle and loving meeting/greeting new people; but this chick has been driving me insane with a capital I.
