re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

i have no idea what this is referring to. so i'm not sure what the same idea would be.

Well, the explanation is RIGHT THERE in the very post you responded to, so I don't know what to tell you. Whatever.

And this:

i'm also not really sure where i've lied in any of my posts, so i have nothing to hide from.

just completely misses the point. Either you really have no idea what I'm saying, or you're very good at playing dumb, but whichever it is, that is so far in left field that I'm not even going to try.

For the record, I did a lot of posting on Rentsecrets before I got sucked in and signed up for an LJ... before I had any intention of it. So at least my anonymity wasn't contrived to be something it wasn't. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2 And yes, Craww, your assumption is right; that's what I meant.

I took that photo. Summer 2004. I still have yet to this day to figure out how it managed to circulate so widely.

I also love how he's trying to hide his beer in that picture

That's my favorite thing about the picture. "Alcohol? Me? Nooo, you can't see it!"

That's how you got stuck with me skittles. Googling Adam and finding sporks (something I have still yet to see in real life, I think they're like unicorns and leprachauns, I don't believe you Americans).

Anyhow, as someone who has never seen Adam live, I just wanted to add my two-cents in on his repeat performances. I like to read everyone's reviews and listen to their stories after they come home from one of his concerts. When it's the same story everytime, it gets less exciting, and I tend to skim and skip their posts. It would do Adam good to spice things up a bit, make me want to spend the money and travel south. It's not that I don't want to see him now, there's just not enough pull to make me spend all the money I don't have to go to the States for a show.

Maybe the light was just really bright.

I also want to build a bit on what Craww said about ways to be supportive -- and how that kind of enables you to reserve the right to be critical, which I think it does. If you took the time to get to know me, you might know that when Civilian was released, I bought like four copies, and then proceeded to give them out as gifts to friends. I think my family (of four) has three. I refused, for years, to burn or upload his albums for anybody -- I think I've only broken on that once. Does being critical negate all of that? Why should it?

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I definitely purchased both of Adam's CDs so that I could support him. Normally I either burn friends' copies or order CDs from the library, but I didn't do that in this case. Same with the Company recording, and the Rent film recording.

Emcee's family is probably more open minded than mine, but if I were to give those as gifts to my parents, they'd probably still be in the cellophane. Sorry, Adam re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I miss all the good sh*t now that I'm working! boo

Oh dear god, that was such a blatant post to cause drama. I hate people like that with a passion. There is no reason to ever even dignify someone like that with a response (which I am sorta doing, but whatever, lol). Go away.

yes and no, I'm sure it will get better as I am there a bit longer. They actually train you on like a realistic schedule. I am so used to just getting thrown into things cold, so it is quite an adjustment, lol.

So I had never actually listened to Mute before, but d/l'd it a while ago. A song finally popped up today in my Mp3 rotation. The quality was so horrible I had to just skip it. Do I just have a bad file, or are most recordings really bad quality of this album?

the recording on the album itself isn't bad, but the file versions are so bad that I can't even listen to them - on my ipod or on a burned cd.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

... is lstbutifulgrl2 worth this venom? Really? Her comments, while asinine, don't exactly offend me considering the source. I am still as fully confident that Jesse L. Martin is better than Adam Pascal in bed and that Me and Larry is a stupid title as I was before. If she had actually had something logical and coherent to say, maybe I'd be a little more defensive.

Someone has one of my pictures with Adam uploaded to their photobucket. Thankfully, I'm cropped out. I think I may have temporarily posted it on here once then deleted it, but I was still seriously creeped out the first time I found it during a random search.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

i usually try to watermark my pictures some how. a bunch of us posted some bon jovi pictures from concerts on their fan club message board and someone swiped them and tried to sell them on ebay as their own.

Oh, I don't care. I posted it at one point, so it's fair game. I'm just always surprised to see it pop up all over the place, because it's not like it's a particularly great photo of him or anything.

A bit off-topic, but my concert ticket for Adam's Mamaroneck show arrived, and now I am really excited.

ETA: I just noticed that you can still see the old tool bar including bookmarks and the who's online button in preview mode. Weird.
