re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

What about you guys who are still in high school? Are they still teaching it that way?

I just graduated in June, but we were never told to do it that way.

misschung- Your cat is so cute! I can't have any pets.

I generally don't use two spaces after a period, but I had one teacher take off points for it once. Maybe she was just in a bad mood that day...

I want to get a pet when I graduate. I'd get a cat because they're lower-maintenence than dogs, but there are no cats I'm not allergic to. At least with dogs, there are hypo-allergenic breeds.

Thanks guys for the welcoming to this thread. It's cold up where my grandmother lives. Man, I feel groggy. I got up almost three hours ago--whew!! I was up until 1:15 last night because I was watching Frasier--and suddenly, I slept too late! I was sick yesterday, so that's why.

I wanna get a pet chihuaua dog, and I'm not allergic to anything, Emcee, but my grandmother doesn't want me to get a dog. I'm getting one anyway, whether she wants me to or not, lol.

I miss Frasier so much, that was one of my favorite shows

It's cold here, too. And I made the very bright decision to go out in flip-flops earlier.

I've been wanting a dog since I was a little kid, but my dad's allergies are even worse than mine, so we never got one. Plus, my parents are top-notch clean freaks, and those don't really go so well with animals.

I frequently get a lecture from my dad about getting a cat. He's under the impression that if I get one, I will suddenly have the need to move back home, and if I do that then he's obviously going to get stuck taking care of my cat, which is silly since I wouldn't pawn my cat off on my dad, and I'm not moving home. Brendan has been on a kitten kick lately, and it's gotten to the point that I half expect him to come through the door with a kitten every time he walks in.

I've always had multiple pets so it seems strange NOT to have them. Whenever I'm in a pet free home I feel like something's missing.

That being said, I get so angry when the wrong people adopt pets. My cousin works like 14 hour days on the upper east side for Morgan Stanley, and last year she got a puppy. The thing was alone in her apartment all. day. long. She had a dog walker come in occasionally, but her neighbors kept complaining that all it did was bark. And she'd yell at it when it went to the bathroom on her floor, like the poor thing knew better. Finally my grandmother offered to watch it, and now it's sort of permanently hers, hehe.

The kids I babysit for keep asking their mom for a dog, and I pray to God she never gives in. That's all they need..

Yes, indeed, misschung! I've been a fan of his since Curtains opened on Broadway. I miss Frasier, too, a whole lot.

Your decision is hilarious, Emcee! I decided to wear my pink slipper-socks, especially to get the mail for my grandmother.

I don't like this cold. It was flurrying when I left my apartment this morning. It doesn't help that our heat hasn't been working the past few days.

I may not like cats, but I've always had an affection for wild cats. Probably has something to do with the obession I had with Born Free as a kid. I was (still am?) weird.

I've worn flip-flops to get the mail in the winter. Not the best idea.

My school is so cold during the winter though! My hands and feet were practically frozen yesterday.

It was flurrying before - AH! I hate winter, lol

We've adopted wild cats before. The kitten we have right now is totally insane, she looks like a tiger.

i hate cold weather, and living near nyc doesn't help that.

it's actually pretty nice here in NC, although supposed to get to the 30s tonight. **brrrrr*

misschung, at least you'll have an excuse to raise your fee for "dogsitting". re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

My little cousin keeps asking for a dog. His parents keep pacifying him with lowest-maintenance-possible pets, like a fish and a hamster. Even the hamster is wearing on my aunt's nerves, so I doubt they'll ever give in.

My weatherbug has the little graphic for "snow showers" tonight. I was shocked when I looked down and saw the little flakes falling from the cloud. I love winter and snow and everything, but it doesn't seem THAT cold yet.

I agree, GuitarGirl. You'd catch a cold that way.

I was at Fleetwood High School for four years, and that school didn't get any heat sometimes, and I dunno if the students were talking about it since I'm not there anymore, but man, it was cold in there that i needed three layers of sweaters.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

oh god I'd be bald if they got a dog, because I'd be pulling my hair out. I've noticed 3 or 4 gray hairs since I started working for them, and I always tell their son it's because of him re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

My high school wasn't heated all the time either - but some other rooms would blast the heat so high that it was unbearable. Very healthy. My work is the same way - it's not good for the books!

I worked at a pet store for like, a week and the manager was like "if people come in and want a low maintenance pet, or have little experience with animals, offer them a crab." I was like "ew." Plus, I doubt a crab is going to scratch a kid's pet itch

It's not humid though, your hair should be ok, no?

This is a crappy day. I pulled my neck out this morning and now it hurts so much that it's making me nauseous. I think the best way to remedy the afternoon is by cooking and baking

In my school we have uniforms, and I think wearing more than one sweater, even if all three are uniform sweaters (they have to be), is against the rules. So are boots of any kind...And they stopped letting the girls wear pants.

I'm supposed to go to a football game. I should wear the under armor I wear to go skiing. :P

And while some secrets were less than flattering, they aren't Adam/Anthony porn.

Someone needs to remind me of this when it's Christmas time, so I can bust out my intentionally disturbing Rapp and Pascal Christmas greeting card. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Since we're talking about cats...
re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2
Mine is practically the size of a mountain lion. AND he's a coquette. For the record, puppetoflove's cat gets extremely violently energized by the sound of Adam Pascal's voice.

I only found out about double spacing after a period within the last few years, and I do it only arbitrarily.

I love cold weather. I'd love for it to snow.

A few years ago, I walked from my front door to my car barefoot in th snow, which I don't recommend. Even though it took a grand total of five seconds, my foot was numb for a very long time. Heh.
