when I worked at Old Navy, our holiday merchandise and cd came like, right before Thanksgiving and it usually played until January. We prayed every year that it would be a good mix

I read somewhere that right before Christmas someone working at a retail store (Macy's?) might hear Jingle Bells 300 times in a day.

When I was in HS i worked at a chain Mexican restaurant. I got to hear Christmas music in Spanish all day long, lol.

lol! I believe it about the 300x a day thing - luckily Old Navy had more "fun" songs and better versions of the classics, so we didn't all pull our hair out at the end of the day

My mall began putting up decorations after closing on Halloween, and Santa has been around for about a week and a half now. I work at Gap Kids, and our "holiday" trees and music started Thursday. Between Thursday and today I worked about 30 hours, so I'm really thankful that our cd this year is really good. I'm hoping to get my tree up this week while I still have time, but the lights won't go on until December 1st.

My local mall must have had their decorations up for at least two weeks. I went last week and noticed them and couldn't help but think, "Isn't it a little early?"

I remember going to Target the day after Halloween and they were replacing everything with there holiday stock :-X

But I'm really excited the Macy's display this year. I have now idea what it's going to be but it'll be the first time my friends and I can drive down (by OURSELVES!) and see it. So that'll be fun.

i thought the same thing when i was in the mall recently, "isn't it a little early". pretty soon there will be christmas stuff up after july 4th.

looks like shows are dark until at least the 25th.... this makes me worry.

I'm never allowing myself to drive in the city again. The first time, my car overheated in Times Square. Three days later, I got a flat tire in the middle of Queens coming home from Adam's show. Never again.

It was supposed to snow yesterday and today but it only snowed for five minutes this morning. Very disappointing. I want snow...

We don't have snow yet, but I'm not quite ready to deal with the snow. I will however need it to snow at some point so I can do some snow activities with the children.

O/T rant: I lost my voice Friday afternoon, and it has not come back yet.
