I hope we get a glimpse of him after tonight's episode so I can pause it and stare.

Is the BWW Julia Murney interview that's just been posted the one that the person asking for questions for her on the main board did?
Wow, sorry for the awkward phrasing. I hope you could read that! Anyway, I think my question about Chess was kind of asked to her, although she didn't go into as much depth as I would have liked (not that I expected her to!).
That's the one.

Oh, cool! I'm sure I wasn't the only one who asked about Chess, but it's kind of neat nonetheless.
I'm still deciding whether I should see her in Minneapolis. I don't even know if there are tickets left!
Dooooooo it.
You know I'm not her biggest fan, but so many people whose opinions I generally agree with insist that she's a performer who simply must be seen live. Plus I like the idea of her as Elphaba. I say go for it.
She's so... present and electrifying. Seriously.

It's ironic that she trashes message boards in her BroadwayWorld.com interview. Heh.
It is. And she has a lot of fans here.

Oh my God, the ticket prices are INSANE.
My parents think Wicked is, frankly, stupid in the first place and are going to laugh in my face for expecting them to pay that much. I don't like it much either, but I feel like I'd be missing a great opportunity if I don't try to see it.
Maybe I'll convince them? Heh.
Well, if Sascha can convince daddy to fly her out to NYC for the Rent benefit, I'm sure the Wicked prices aren't that bad. I mean, it's not like you have many opportunities to see shows in the first place, so I guess you take advantage of what you get.

Well... Sascha's father might have a different opinion of the Rent OBC than my parents do of Wicked. They'll probably agree to it after a lot of begging, anyway!
I'm surprised that Wicked isn't sold out. Hasn't it sold out in most cities in one day? I remember having the hardest time trying to get tickets for DC.

I know Dallas and Houston sold out really fast...
Thanks for the Cold Case reminder! I completely forgot...
Yay for Cold Case being just 7 days away! I'm going to need that to look forward to with all of the crap I have to deal with this week.
Lexi, if your parents give you trouble, just play the "soon I'll be away at college and you won't get to do fun things like this with me all the time" card. If it worked for someone like me who went off to a college all of 9 miles from home, you should have no problem getting your way

Aand (because I hadn't read it until just now)...I heart Julia Murney.
That is all.
I read what she said about avoiding message boards. It must be a difficult temptation to resist if you know people are talking about you, but probably necessary for most performers' sanity.
I'm getting my VCR ready for any little teasers tonight. I've watched a few episodes now, and they usually do the "coming next week" thing.
I'll watch tonight, then. I have to dig through my shelf of tapes and find one that's got an hour left on it before Adam's episode actually airs.
I just did that too, Emcee. Fortunately it looks like I have a couple of blank ones. I'm debating whether to go in search of an SVHS tape for this though. They're getting hard to find. I'm clinging to my old Super VCR, which is very high quality, though I should probably just get with it and buy some kind of DVD recorder.
Mine all have a ton of random things on them; they're grouped and labelled.... or, they WERE. Now it's just a haphazard pile. I'll probbaly stick it on one of my Rent press tapes.
I know at least one that *should* be labeled.
It is!
I'll just record it on the DVR.

I used to be very anal with regards to labeling tapes -- not so much anymore. Honestly, I've found that I have a tendency to record things and watch them maybe once after that, but it gives me peace of mind knowing that TV apperances of my favorite performers/baseball highlights are available for viewing if I wanted to.
Anyway, I should not be as excited as I am to possibly get a 10-second glimpse of Adam.
I know, it feels a little ridiculouus. Oh, and I've also noticed that there tend to be a number of promos for the show, so we have that to look out for next week too.
