Fantab, no, I didn't mean it. PM me. *loves forever*
What's the matter, Sarah?
At least it gives you a choice, Emcee. If one of them is just sitting around, you can go see one of the others.
I'm just bored. I've resorted to making my own fun.
Sarah, why are you so *mean* to people all the time, huh? You're just a big meanie-head. *personally attacks, sticks tongue out*
I'm paper and you're glue whatever you say sticks to you.
Ooh, good comeback. Did you think it up all by yourself? *SLAP*
Well ... well ... you smell.
Yeah, well... your FACE.
Takes one to know one.
Yeah, I'm out.
aw, Sarah. Let's never fight again. *hugs*
*sniff* never *hugs*

So I hear Adam sang Maybe This Time...
There better be audio/video of this somewhere...that might be my favorite song from Cabaret...
Our own little soap opera... you two must really be bored!
It would be great to hear that, Amber.
It. Is. So. Glorious.
And by an obvious train of association, I'm thinking about Susan Egan's comment about Adam not being as edgy as you might expect. Did that come out of anything you said to her?
Not really. I just said that I'm sure she gets this all the time, but I had to ask what he's like to work with. Left it pretty open...
Then I guess she was referring to her own expectations as a fan of his Roger. He probably was more of a bad boy in his earlier days, but I think he's basically very benign. Kind of like RENT itself, with an edgy, gritty exterior but very warm heart at its core. Anthony can talk about Adam having a "darker soul," but I imagine that appllies to almost anyone in comparison with Anthony.
I go back to what Adam said in the Outpatient article about wanting to make a positive spiritual connection with his music. I think he does, even in the darker songs.
Who's super excited for sunday?!?!

So true Chloe...when did Anthony say that?
Oh trust me...I can not wait for Sunday
Right. I think it's definitely plausible to expect him to be really edgy, when he's such a down-to-earth teddy bear.
SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!
Not that I'm excited...
Amber, Anthony made the "darker soul" comment as more of a joke during the Q&A after the Symphony Space RENT screening. There was a whole exchange when Anthony was talking about first hearing about the movie and being concerned about whether Adam would want to do it or not. Adam interrupted with "because I'm a sour prick," and Anthony responded by saying that Adam was a darker soul. Not to be taken too seriously, I think.
I can't wait!
Ah Symphony Space. *reminisces*

I just got back from V for Vendetta. It was very good, albeit extremely bizarre. There were so, so many Brave New World/1984 direct parallels.
Amber, did a friend of yours go to the concert? I wish there were a place to look for information on his concerts other than here and LJ.
I agree with what you said about expecting Adam to be edgier than he actually is. Considering most people who even know who he is have only been exposed to him through the very obviously withdrawn/"edgy" character of Roger and/or the character of Radames, who definitely has some roughness to him as well, it's a very realistic expectation. I'm surprised how often I find myself speculating what an actor or actress is like in real life based solely upon their roles. I think it's very much a natural instinct.
Symphony Space was probably the most exciting event in the whole Rent movie marathon for me. Seeing it for the first time AND having Adam and the others there too.

HA! Nice...Anthony...speaker of truth
Nope, I saw it on the other board. But I completely agree...pulling bits and pieces from everywhere, although not bad, isn't quite ideal (to say the least)...
