Thanks everyone. I have a orange strawberry smoothie now, so that's helping a little. At least, it's helping improve my mood. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part eight

Aw, yay Ash! Staying with relatives is probably much more fun than staying in a hotel, especially in a tourist dead zone like Cincinnati. But Company! I'm excited *for* you! You never forget your first time with Raul! re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part eight

Skittles, sit up as much as you can, it helps everything drain.

I don't know if you'll have an easy time finding this, but if you CAN, I'd also recommend getting some eucalyptus oil. Put a few drops into boiling water, and inhale the steam. It'll make you feel a LOT better.

I am *so* excited. Thanks. I'll clap as loud as I possibly can. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part eight

It actually is really wonderful to be staying with relatives, since they've been able to tell me where to go shopping tomorrow, etc. and plan out everything. Not to mention that it's really nice to see them. Unfortunately, they're busy at the moment making funeral travel arrangments because my aunt-in-law's uncle just passed away. I'm hoping this wasn't ultimately a bad weekend to come, but they've been great.

:-/ I'm sorry! They're seeing the show with you, right? Not just letting you stay there?

Yes, they're seeing it with me. The funeral that they're going to isn't until Monday, so it shouldn't conflict, and fortunately I don't think my aunt was especially close to her uncle.

Company...clap for me...I wish I could see it!

My technologically unadvanced sister's nano is frozen, and won't reboot or anything. This is not quite what I'd call fun...

Going back a bit:

Phantom of the Opera in 15 Minutes is the greatest piece of modern literature I have ever read.

*cut, fade to swordfight scene*

"Hey guys?"

*stabbity*

"My boobs are kinda getting frostbitten..."

*sla****y*

"Did someone say slash?!"

Priceless. XD

AHHH!! For real, guitargeek! It's one of the funniest pieces of writing I think I've ever read. Brilliance, I tell you!

I have another Raúl-a-like. I'm preparing to get laughed at. Maybe you have to see this guy in motion, but he can be SO Raúl-like.

He's not that attractive, but I can see where you'd get that.

... who is he?

He's just a teaching fellow at the school I went to last year. I saw him at a farmers' market last weekend, and thought of Raul.

I think it's the eye-squinty thing. Raul does that. As for the rest of him...not so much. The hair is very Greg Brady.

Are they now interchangable? That could get confusing!

Definitely the eye thing, Skittles!

One last teaching fellow (that sounds so... pretentious, doesn't it? We always called them tutors) before I go off to bed. This is the one that EVERYBODY had a crush on. He used to bike to campus, and wore a cute stripey hat with ear flaps. I wanted to take him home and love him forever.

ooh. He's cute!

heh. Well, no, not interchangeable. I told Mano that he reminds me of Raul, and then Mano figured out that I have a huge crush on Raul. Anyway, I did explain that I love Raul's work and all, but Mano's been teasing me about it. I asked him for a signed headshot, and he said "and for you, I will sign Raul (aka Mano)." :)

That picture doesn't even do the cuteness justice. I could gush for days about this guy. He used to sit all scrunched up in his chair, and close his eyes tightly when you asked him a question. I saw him at the farmers' market, too! ...and pined from a distance. *sigh* He's so little.

I think I'm off to bed. 'Night, all!

Oh, Em, did he really sign Raul (aka Mano)? Please say yes!

I get a crush on someONE every ten years or so. You guys are awfully susceptible! But it's cute.
