I officially submit my request for showing some skin.
OMG! I think I know who you're talking about, mesmerized!! She was quite helpful in my early Adam days. I was just talking about her the other day. I don't think I would classify her as crazy, though. Loyal, maybe?

I've got to admit, ladies, that I've never FULLY understood the Adam fascination (please don't hurt me) - but mesmerized's pics on the previous page have me . . . well, mesmerized

Why, thanks Siamese There're already some of my favorite posters on this thread, so I thought I could venture in briefly without too much danger!

Provided you're on the east coast, you shoulda gone to one of his shows.
Nah, he's a west coaster. He should go to those shows!
Hiya, DG! I'll forgive your tiny slip in not recognizing the awesomeness that is The Adam!

I'm attempting to study, but it's so hard.
Procrastination is bad, girls.
Mesmerized - check your email, 'cause I'm impatient! Unless you have and I'm just being annoying.

Does anyone have any tips for studying for an exam that you realy should have started preparing for a couple weeks ago? I realize it's totally my fault, but I kept putting studying for this off more and more, thinking it would be easy, but it's really not. I feel so overwhelmed at this point that I just don't know where to start.
Just start! NOW!!!!!
hehehe
Only thing I remember is that staying calm is soo important. When you are frantic it is hard to concentrate, and then ten times harder in the end. Also, don't overwork yourself, you end up forgetting more that way.
Make study sheets? Even if it's last minute, I tend to remember things better if I've written them out. Also, working in hour chunks with 10 minute breaks is usually helpful.
Yep, I'm definitely with Fantab -- for me, I know I'll remember things ten times better if I've written/recopied them myself. If it's a test where the material will be textbook-heavy and you haven't read, make an outline of the major concepts from the notes and skim the chapters, writing down anything that seems particularly likely to be on the test, was covered heavily in lecture, etc. If the textbook's not so important, I usually take a highlighter to my notes and on a separate sheet recopy the most important things, or if it's in list (read: likely multiple choice question) form, make sure that I can write down all of the things on the list without referencing the notes.
In any case, good luck! I have a scary test tomorrow, too, but it's one where I just need to cram in as many practice problems tonight as possible.

I can't see the pictures, they are blocked on my school laptop. I'll just look at them on my computer later, unless anyone feels like e-mailing them to me. :)
Surprisingly, this was a very easy Monday.
I'm with fantab and siren- study sheets and re-writing the material always helps me. What is the test on, Lexi?
Make a general outline of main points and then test yourself to see how much you can fill in. Fantab and Siren are right - rewrite rewrite rewrite.
Well, sweetestsiren took all the words out of my mouth But a thing I do that could possibly help (not quite sure what kind of test your taking) is to make flashcards. When I'm in 'procrastinating rush'; it teaches me to focus on the subject at hand and it aids in memorization. Good luck though!
*And by the by, I love your pictures Mesmerized! Out of curiousty, when where these taken?

But... I don't feel like writing. I guess I have from now until the end of the night, so...
There's a study guide that comes along with the book, but it's just so daunting.
ETA: It's a psych test.

You can try and do some practice problems? Not sure what the subject is, so that may not work. Or just review the material and write down key points on post-it notes.
