Hah, my friend was convinced Adam was somehow impossibly Todd for the longest time.
I like the pictures, Jenna. All of this is reminding me I really need to get mine developed. And Lexi, I keep forgetting to say congrats on finally getting those posters signed.

Thank you! I was so sick of bringing that everywhere. Now we just need Josh Groban (yeah right), Jonathan Dsomethng (he's in Hairspray, so we'll get him soon), and Sutton Foster (who's an evil little bitch).
I forgot to add that MotorTink and sweetdisaster are both really cool people who managed to put up with my weirdness for one night, and that takes work!

I'm glad you all had such a great time. And I actually love that these fan girls exist, it would've made your night more dull otherwise.
Maybe we can get Jonathan Doclkjadaoerjitz when I'm there, Lexi.
ahaha, I'm highly amused that he intentionally burps during "Maria."
I guess he's trying to make some sort of point.

I want to! I don't want to annoy your friend, though. I suppose we could skip the Rent stagedoor and head over to Hairspray, depending on how badly you want to meet the Rent performers. I'm not sure it's a wise idea to stagedoor the day we're going anyway because I'm sure the crazies will be out in full force.
I guess we'll just play it by ear.
I think the point is that he thinks it's funny to do something immature during the most...legit theaterish song in his set. (Whichitkindais.)
I think I remember the answer being no, but does he ever sing "I Don't Care Much"?
Aww, thanks Lexi, as long as I am in a heated place thinking about it it was fun! =) I'm glad I decided to go after all.
Sweetdisaster - Everything go ok in the parking garage??

No, he doesn't sing that, unfortunately. I think it would be kind of a downer, but he sings the song beautifully, so I'd love to hear it anyway.

Happy to hear everyone had a time. Adam better get his act together and bust out some bedazzled jeans before I start having to call him Sparkleshirt instead.
I totally just felt deep shame when I realized I would travel to see him in Chicago or maybe anything.
I wish he'd sing it. It's not a happy song, but it's just beautiful. And hey, Cabaret's just not a happy show. So it's okay.
No need to feel ashamed of that here, Craww. We'd all do the same. The sparkly jeans seem to be a thing of the past, or perhaps the trash. Too bad - Sparkleshirt just doesn't have the same ring to it.
Emcee, maybe he was saving I Don't Care Much for the "Broadway" show.
IDCM is a really dark but beautiful song, I would love to see him sing it, but it wouldn't fit in with his current show I don't think.
I'm still really interested to hear about this broadway show he's supposed to be doing at some point.
And Tink, the garage thing went fine. At that point I was probably jogging to my car anyway. It was great to meet to all too!
seat stealer! =)
Ok, I see how it is.

It's okay, Craww. Acceptance is the first stepping stone on the path to, uh, recovery? Conscious obsession? I'm not sure how the phrase goes.
This is going back a little bit. Lexi, I'm going to see Josh Groban on the 24th. I know I can't really get your poster signed for you, but...
Wow, I just started typing this and lost my train of thought. Sorry!
I'd travel to see him too, if it weren't for money and my parents.

Great reviews everyone. Sorry, I would've commented sooner but I was out all day due to dance classes and shopping. :)
I can't believe that these obnoxious 12-year-olds actually scream at him "I want to have you babies!!" Can anyone seriously be more immature and rude? I would never even have the nerve to say that to him.
I'm glad you got your Chess posters signed! It sounds like it was an awesome show and that Adam was at his best (complete with outfit and snarky comments.) I wish I was able to go, and hopefully i'll meet some of you girls at the next one.
btw, did you girls ever have an encounter with MKAYYYYYYY?

I think she was sitting near us, but if so, she was surprisingly quiet. And no one threw a Valentine, except for that woman who placed the mysterious red bag on the stage at the end of the show.

That is insanely creepy. I don't think I want to know what was in that bag.
About 10:45ish I think.
I know! Adam bowed and then just picked up the bag, kinda like he expected it. He didn't even look down, at it, or have any facial expression. Just picked it up and walked off stage.
Like 10:15?
ETA -- heh, was it really that late? I think we were at the train station by 10:40, because I remember having just missed the earlier train.
Emcee is right. I'm still out of it
