Bored out of my skull, but I'm okay. I guess I'll go watch TV or something later. My family isn't really very entertained by the novelty of my being home anymore, so I just kind of wander.
Hopefully I can get online again tonight, when things are a bit busier.
Ugh. I was supposed to take my brother to see Rent tonight, FINALLY, but since Memoirs of a Geisha opens today, it kicked Rent out of the only theatre that had still been playing it.
So, I guess that's that.
My brother got what he wanted; he got out of seeing it.
Sorry about that. Maybe it was meant to be. If he'd hated it, that wouldn't have been a very positive way for your last viewing to go. It's still playing here in a couple of theaters, and I'm thinking about Christmas Eve tomorrow as a very appropriate time to go again.
I'm just off to shop, nothing exciting. See you later!
Sorry about that, Emcee. It's not showing near me either.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

French onion soup, salmon, rice pilaf, and (hopefully) asparagus. We're having the neighbors over for Shabbes, and my mom is out of town, so we volunteered.

Oh my god! I was sitting here belting incredibly loudly to I Dreamed a Dream, not knowing that my sister's friend was in the next room. He just came in and looked at me and was like "Hi" and I'm like "hiiiiii". Wow. That was embarrasing.

Heh, I just spent a good portion of the afternoon watching The Food Network with my dad. I love watching all of those cooking shows, but I can't seem to get myself to gather up the discipline to do anything more complicated than boiling water and then stirring the food I put in the pot, and even that I don't do too often. My most-used kitchen appliances are the microwave and the phone, not necessarily in that order

I love watching the cooking and baking challenges on the food network where they make those really amazing structures with sugar and chocolate. They're all so pretty, but then they're not edible.
Rachael Ray is so cute! She makes it seem like all of the stuff she's doing is actually possible for a regular person to do.
Aside from the straight-up cooking shows, I really like Roker On The Road.
