Wow, Monte looks a lot like Adam. That's a really cute picture.
Anyone notice the guitar?
Yup. A couple pages back I asked if it was weird that I clicked on the picture because I wanted to see what was in the background.
Nope not wierd at all. I did the same thing. lol.. Who doesn't want to know what Adam's house looks like?
I hate children.
But they are AWFULLY CUTE.
kids can be ok if you train them right. I wish I could pick my students by interviewing the parents. I can teach any kid but I can't handle every parent. The parents that are the most reasonable have the kids that are the most reasonable. The kids that are brats usually have the parents who go from 0 to crazy in 0.2 seconds at a restaurant or store or teacher conference, etc. Luckily most of my students I have for more than one year so I get to train them a little.
but those little boys are darn adorable!
My mom was almost speechless when she saw the picture. She just thought they were the most adorable things ever- but my mom is a sucker for kids.
I sort of want to show my mom, but she'll tell me to go away and stop being weird.
They're just so cute!
I think Lennon's smile is a lot like Adam's too.

I love that pic *tries to figure out what CD's are in the background* I feel like such a stalker! Lol. I think I'm gonna name my computer Radames- but only if you weren't gonna use that Em, I would feel bad stealing it from you.
When my brother got an iPod he named it Gizzmo, so I named mine Gizzette- they are friends, lol.
I think Monte looks more like Adam too. Show your mom! Maybe it'll be some weird thing you can talk about later - if not, hasn't she told you you're being weird before?
Eee, I'm glad I'm not the only one who was looking at all of the stuff in the background.
They're so cute!
I love kids - babysitting, playing with them. They're always very honest and they say such funny things. Sometimes it's very refreshing to be around them. Living with one constantly I'm not sure I could deal with, but having fun with them for a day or in small doses is the best. I seem to be in the minority on that. :-/
lol. i was, too. hehehe. his kids are way cute.
hehe ... I've been a fan of Mike Mussina (used to be on the orioles, now a yankee) since I was like 12 years old. My mom thinks I'm weird cause I know random facts about him ... so when the rent movie came out and this kind of stuff got brought up in conversation she not only exclaimed how weird I am once again, but asked if Mike was ok with me following info about another person.
I noticed the CD's too. It is a little strange to see their Christmas tree and book shelves, but I love seeing the kids. They're beautiful. They both have Adam's eyebrows and long chin also.

I kinda want to show my mom too (I told her about it), but I think she would really think I was odd. I always drag her to my computer to show her pictures of Anthony, Adam, and Rosario, but someone's kids? That might be a little weird, lol.
I showed the picture to my mom. She's always worried about me being madly in love with gay men. I had to convince her that that's not always the case. That one guy I like is actually married and has kids.

hehe...well the first question my mom asked about Adam is "does he have a wife and kids too, or do you have a chance with this one?" :) AND ... she called cause they are trying to add another computer to their wireless network (a microwave is sometimes too much technology for them). I said I'd come home as soon as Rent hit the 2nd run cheapy theater there. She said "hmm, fix my internet and maybe i'll go see what all the fuss is about with you."
I'm using my powers for GOOD this time :)
SO CUUUUTE.
Emcee, did you see my posts about Cybele's cookbook? That's how this whole blog thing came up.
Awww, that's such a cute picture!

That's pretty much exactly how I feel. I love ooohing and ahhhing about how cute little kids are and playing with my little cousins, but even babysitting is just too much for me (the only kid I ever babysat for was my younger brother, and that basically consisted of making sure he put his dinner in the microwave for the right amount of time and shut off his TV before going to sleep).
Ugh, I am so fed up with my family right now. My parents had some sort of argument this afternoon, and my mom is totally taking it out on me because I happened to be the nearest available person for her to yell at (plus, I tend to take after my dad, so if she's mad at him, it's usually for something not too different from how I would behave). I'm sure it will get worse once she finds out the Internet bill I've run up this week (over $200, but my dad doesn't mind, which will probably make her even more pissed off. Yay.)
I adore kids but I can't be with the same one every day. I babysat for a 5 year old over the summer and she was cute at first but now I refer to her as the "devil child". I think her biting me kind of sums up the entire experience. But I work at a daycare, and I only see the kids twice a week. They're 2-3 years old and sometimes even younger. It's nice to see them change and grow, as sappy as that sounds.
ew - biting is not cool. I like watching them grow up, too! The kids I had as 1st graders when I started teaching are in 5th gr and leaving me for middle school, so it's so weird to think that they couldn't even tie their shoes when I first met them and now they're old enough to laugh at me for watching Adam on Tony Danza in the morning :)
I posted that on the main board, but I will reiterate some things here and apologize.
First off, I wrote this before I saw your most recent post Insomniak, with that comment I was referring to what I wrote about the suicidal girl.
Second, like I said, I did not mean w/ as you do that you don't love or admire people or that anyone loves anyone more, I meant it more as...no one including myself can understand the actions of another person unless they live in their head. If you see the actions of someone suicidal, like if they live their lives for one person sure they can come across as extremely obsessed or whatever...but then if they've been through such **** recently or maybe have some mental disorders and they honestly need to do so to live...that's all.
I didn't think this morning that i did respond to you and you started this thread and I am sorry for that, I did and would have removed that part at least here if I thought of that.
I still stand by the point that we shouldn't judge people until we walked their shoes, but again, I really didn't mean that comment to say you don't love people or the more obsessed fans love them more...sometimes the obsessed fans are the ones that say worse things about the actor and can end up loving them much less.
I mean when I said as they do, I really meant that in terms of everyone, even myself.
anyway, I really did not intend that all at you, I do understand why it was taken that way b/c sometimes I don't think and i could have worded things better and I apologize. Some other comments on the thread actually upset me a lot more. I just have some friends who have been suicidal in the past or have gone through bouts of depression and I got a little overemotional and overreacted. I will try to slow down my reaction and make sure I think things through and not get so heated in the future.
