I'll take a picture in a few days, or when it stops raining, because then it'll actually stay straight; I'm waiting for it to de-poof some.
Ahh, I was gonna ask if the length changes how often you wear it straight/curly. I guess straightening it now would be much quicker if nothing else. The one thing I prefer about short hair for me is that the curls are much easier to manage. That's why i've chopped it every 3 years or so.
I don't think it'll curl anymore. It'll wave a bit, but not like it used to.
That's a lot of inches, Em, you're braver than me. I got 2 inches trimmed off the bottom
I have only 1 Chatterbox video, but I have a wishlist of videos I'd like. If the proceeds didn't go to charity, I'd wish they would give you a discount when you ordered like 3 or more or something.
Well, I've been walking around with my hood up all day.
I like the length at the bottom, but the layered part is REALLY short. I'm glad that my hair grows fast.
I think in a few days I'll get used to it.
I saw the Rent movie again.
(It's still playing in Union Square, if anyone's interested.)
Seeing the trailer makes me really want one more chance. Hopefully it's still playing there when I get back.
It was so bizarre to watch the trailer after the fact -- after the storm has truly come and gone.
yeah, but it makes me happy to watch it still! I will like remembering this summer and fall and all the lead up time. I had never really been that excited about a movie before. I'm really hoping it finally gets to our 2nd run theater soon - they only have listings up for today so maybe it'll start tomorrow. It's worth the half hour drive! :)
I'm hoping it gets to our second run theater soon too. :)
I'm jealous of people w/ second run theatres.
I was thinking about going to Union theatre tomorrow for the 3:20 show...not sure though
I don't think there is a second-run theater in our area. I guess my hometown area is too well-off to deserve that, they think we can afford $9 matinees.
I definitely miss the anticipation of it. When I was watching Anthony on Isaac (um, that sounds weird) and I was all excited, it was just odd that I still have that kind of adrenaline-pumping reaction to it. I've never had this kind of dedication to a movie and I don't think any other movie will measure up.
I think the whole experience was pretty extraordinary. It's hard to imagine this set of circumstances ever coming together again. How many shows have the kind of fans that Rent does? Even if one were made into a movie, how likely is it that the original cast would be used? Or that Adam would be involved? It was great sharing all that with so many people.
It was weird how I'd get these adrenaline rushes every time there was a new trailer, or a new clip on the blog. Or how I was ready to punch someone when I found out the release date was being pushed back.
hehe ... I can get that feeling ... I'm sleepy and want to go to bed but I missed the earlier showing of Issac on Style Network and have to stay up longer so I can see it tonight.
We got our 2nd run theater by accident awhile back ... it was a regular theater but old and dumpy and yucky sound system. As the prices began to jump nobody was interested in going to the crappy one so it closed. It sat empty for awhile and then poof this 2nd run place bought it. It used to be a dollar, now it's 3 bucks but you get free popcorn. Sadly it's by my parents house and not here, but I'm willing to drive for Rent. :) Everything else I just wait for the DVD these days. Other than Rent I couldn't even tell you the last thing I saw in a theater. (Well, I saw Narnia but that's just cause people were going and I didn't want to sit home and do nutin') :)
What time is Isaac coming back on?
So what did Anthony say on that show? Anything new?
Isaac suggested that Anthony should have brown hair. I haven't watched it yet though.
Anyhow, I was just looking for showtimes in the paper, and it's still playing in 3 places uber far from me. It's not at the second run theaters yet though. My paper gave it 3 stars though, so that's good.

according to my TV guide he's on at 11pm eastern time tonight. Was it a decently long interview, anyone?
Um, not really too much, just basic stuff about the movie and why he decided to write his book. They also talked about Mark's style choice and stuff. And Anthony's as well- he was wearing a "navy and mud" ensemble. I think the jacket was actually the same one Rodney wore to the Rent premiere.
Skittles, you saw the show - what went on? I know they talked about everything Anthony's been up to lately, but what did he actually say?
ETA: thanks, you beat me to it!

It's weird now to *truly* look back at it. We're no longer in the middle of something so extraordinary; and now it's something that's over. That's... weird. And we're never, ever going to have an experience like that ever again. It's almost a relief, but something's... missing.
I love that they share clothes!
I love how Anthony and Rodney matched at the premiere.
One thing that's missing for me is going online every day knowing that new exciting things were going to be there - a new post from Anthony, new pictures from the set, a new blog entry, a new trailer, a new TV appearance listing. Now everything seems comparatively flat and boring.
Yeah. I log in and just sort of scan the main board, and see the same old boring stuff.
