Anyone else have pets they'd like to share?

Adam's Slow Lovin'

Here's a picture of me and my doggy Milo. He's very sweet and very stupid. I love him dearly. The picture's kinda messed up though. Sorry.

I used to ride over the summers but I got bucked off a horse when I was around 10 and it scared me away from riding.

My horse bucks like crazy sometimes. In fact, the first time I ever rode him he bucked me off. But its usually after we jump something so its not too bad.

Since I was about 8 or 9 and now I'm almost 16. How long did you ride for?

Like 7 years. I had to stop for a lot of reasons in junior high school, and then when I started high school I just didn't have the time to start again. I've been back to it a few times just for fun, but I wish I did it more often.

Yeah its hard to find the time. I try to balance swimming, track, horseback riding, ocasionally tennis and theater stuff, and school, but sometimes there aren't enough hours to do everything! or well maybe there would be but instead I just procrastinate on facebook, broadwayworld.com etc and never get anything done when im supposed to, lol

hah. The story of my life. I don't do as much in terms of extra curricular stuff now as I did in high school, thankfully.

Haha yeah well I like to keep busy doing tons of stuff, but when it comes to school work I have a SERIOUS procrastinating disease. I think about doing my work for about 20 seconds and then just get on the internet, lol.

Me too, which is part of the reason why my grades this semester aren't so hot. I blame it on the RENT movie -- just kidding. I have no self control when it comes to the internet. Sigh.

Horseback riding is so fun. My aunt has horses and she used to give me lessons when I was younger. Did any of you ever have a horse obsession?

Ah, finally finished unpacking. As much fun as I had on my cruise this week, I'm happy it's over and I no longer have to share a room with my mom and pay 50 cents a minute for Internet access. I'm not so happy that my iPod seems to have croaked during the flight back home - I turned it off, wasn't able to turn it back on, and now when I plugged it into my laptop to charge it, the computer isn't even recognizing that a device is attached.

I'm glad that the thread seems a bit happier today. Happy New Year to everyone (I'm saying it now in case I fall asleep before midnight). I don't know if this is a resolution exactly, but I've set a goal for myself of getting my driver's license by the time I turn 21 (still nearly a year and a half away, but I figure I should get started now). I had nowhere near enough driving experience when I took my road test 2 and a half years ago, and I was so demoralized by failing it that I haven't been behind the wheel since. I think I might also revive my resolution from 2 years ago of keeping a diary - I actually managed to do that for nearly half a year, and it really helped me deal with a lot of the stress I was going through at the time. Plus, it was fun to write something just for the joy of writing and not having to worry about being graded on it.

All of these pet pictures are so cute! It really makes me so sad that I can't have a pet.

Horseback riding is something that I really wish I would have gotten into, but never really did. Being on the back of a galloping horse has got to be the coolest feeling ever.

Strangely enough, the one sport I really loved was Tae Kwon Do -- not the hardcore street fighting kind (obviously), but I was taught it was more of an art form than anything. I received my black belt and competed at various tournaments. Pretty cool stuff, especially considering I've always been short and skinny. Heh.

Try plugging the iPod into the wall electrical outlet to charge it. That should help.

My brother got into Tae Kwan Do, but it was just because he wanted to kick my ass.

Ipods never seem to last very long. I got an Ipod Mini at Christmas last year, and by about July it wouldnt work for longer then like 20 minutes most of the time. That kinda sucked because I went on a trip to Australia and we had to take a lot of long bus rides, my ipod wouldn't work, and I had forgotten my cd player. I don't trust Ipods to work for long. They also only have so many times you can charge it before you need a new battery
