Posted: 8/26/05 at 3:21pmMy room has three purple walls, and a white wall with paintings on it. I made the mistake of letting my crazy friends do the paintings, so they're kind of random. I'm thinking of painting over that wall. I have a futon bed which I love, though!

I used to have a picture.
Bluish/purple walls, very, very lightly pink-stained wood floors. My bed's big and fluffy, black, curvy iron frame. I can't descibe the bed dressings; they're kind of odd - deep blues and purples with a really neat, sort of Eastern-looking pattern. Theatre posters along the walls, and pack-rat stuff EVERYWHERE.

My mother stands over me and makes me clean out things a few times a year. She hates that I keep everything.
ETA - Atrias, when I was younger, we had a cleaning lady, and she used to re-arrange the pictures and things on my desk when she moved them to clean. I would get SO upset, and tell my mother to do something about it. She didn't understand why I was so bothered!

Emcee, that's wierd and a half. Why would she touch your stuff? I'd be ticked.
I have to spring clean once a year, but that's it. I suppose that's not awful.
We have never and will never have a cleaning lady here. Too expensive.

Because she'd pick it up to clean around/under it, and like... they'd get put back in a different order than I liked them!
When I "clean" I don't get rid of things. I just re-arrange them.

It can be done. I had someone STAY OVER in my room, but I still managed to have it all me-d again within a day or two.

hi i'm bac!are we talking our rooms now?
mne has wallpaper which i don't really like,but it was here when we moved in,it's pink on the bottom w/ weird dot things,and cream on top,w. flower things,i have a bunk bed

Hey Atrias and theatrebabe! Oh my gosh, I missed A LOT....
Talking about rooms? 2 walls are dark blue, 2 walls are pink. Green Day and RENT posters cover one, and other Broadway posters cover another wall (other things are in the way of the other 2 walls).
Pedro Pascal... oh wow. I was like WHAT?
I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

It's Adam's secret evil Hispanic twin!
That's cool, Diva - two different color walls. I've seen it work really well with two walls having wallpaper with thick stripes and two solid - both deep colors, really neat.

Oh, I forgot. I have a huge poster of Aragorn covering one of my windows because I have no blinds on my windows,and I don't trust the middle-aged guy next door.
I think my room is starting to get back to normal. I've had the windows open for over an hour.
