No, to be an usher (with the exception of a few shows on Broadway that allow volunteer ushers) you have to be in some union. I have a friend who has volunteered to work at the concerts a few times, but I'm not sure how or what he's done.

I just found a clip of Broadway Beat's coverage of the Chess concert. *dies* I think I must be a bigger Josh fangirl than I thought, because when he started singing I got chills and tears. Then there's an interview with him. THENTHENTHEN!!! OOOO THEN! Then, EVERYONE'S THERE. Raul, Adam, Julia, Sutton... They do the end of Nobody's Side, starting with a little solo from Raul.

Allie, I just put on Closer. GAH. My little brother saw him last night, and I'm tres jealous. I almost went, but I opted for GV, since my mom had been planning to go with him for a while. She offered to let me go in her stead, but I didn't think it was really fair.

eep. I just watched. Josh is ADORABLE. May I hug him?

I LOVE that clip they showed with them all singing. Here's why - Raúl, perfect being that he is... screws up. If you watch, he's the only one that's actually looking at Seth's conducting, yet he holds the last note way past everyone else. *giggles*

Wait, when they're all singing "Nobody's on Nobody's Side", isn't that Adam who holds the note way til the end? And you can even kind of see him close his mouth after that. And Adam is more likely to do that lol.

It's definitely Raúl. Listen to the vibrato. He's got that obnoxious, sexy-as-all-sin vibrato. And, Seth showed this clip at Adam's chatterbox to prove that Adam, unlike Raúl, "DOES follow directions!!"

Hi everyone. I'd love to see one of those Chess *coughs*. For Diva and anyone else who hasn't heard Adam's "Pity the Child," Seth plays it at the end of Adam's second appearance at the Chatterbox. It's a bad video of a video, so you don't see him too well (at least on my copy), but the sound is very good - cleaner than what was up at the fan site. He also plays the end of the song where Adam hits the C#.
