The truly beautiful should be lawfully restricted from wearing clothing; and the truly butt-ugly should be lawfully mandated from going naked.

Yaay thanks Racetrack, glad to know I don't hafta single-handedly keep the thread alive.

Let's see, I'm really excited for the DVD to come out May 3, a 2-disc special edition, hopefully get to see a lot more Gerry on it. I'd love to see his audition tape or something.

And still figuring out how I can see Dear Frankie, hrmph.

Yeah. We're still trying to figure out how to see it too. Hopefully it's still playing here this weekend which I think it is. We'll see. I also want to see the movie Dot the I, even though it doesn't have Gerry in it.

Yaay, I'm going down to visit friends in DC this weekend and Dear Frankie is playing at a theatre there a couple blocks away woohoo!! I'll post a full review here and let anyone know if there are any particular memorable "scenes" from it. Doubt it, it seems like a sweet movie, but there could always be a shirtless moment here or there...

Oh and sorry about the blank post, I was trying to post a blown-up version of my montage with Gerry in Phantom pics where it says "I'm too sexy for my mask" but it didn't work. Hrmph.

Dear Frankie semi-review:

I FINALLY saw this movie, I am sooo happy I did, it was soo good!! At first, it took a little while getting used to everyone's Scottish accents and understanding everything but I finally got there. It seemed to drag a teeny bit in the beginning, but that could also be due to the fact that I knew a lot about the plot going in so things were just unraveling that I knew about. It started to get a bit more interesting about 20 minutes into it, but there was a sad moment...no spoitting of Gerry yet. He actually didn't come on into a little under an hour into the movie, it was very sad. Finally he appeared, hehe, looking very sexy as usual. There were no shirtless scenes but he did spend most of the movie in a very sexy leather jacket, I appreciated that. And his hair is darker now, looks slightly dyed or something, like in Lara Croft 2 the hair looked kind of grey but in this it just looked black. And like I said, the movie was really good. He played the sweetest character and while I didn't cry and it really wasn't as sad as I thought it would be, it was still very touching and just a sweet film, very intelligently written. Though most of the plot at least for me is pretty well-known, I don't want to give away too much, though there was a teeny twist at the ending and it was just soo well-written. And Gerry My poor friend had to listen to me squeal and sigh throughout much of the movie. I figured I wouldn't get a shirtless scene, oh well. Gerry fans and not so-big Gerry fans I highly recommend this movie if it ever plays anywhere near you.

I'm sad because my boyfriend and I didn't get to go see it for my birthday because of stupid Shakespeare meeting which was more like a get together. While that was fun to see everyone I still wished that we could have seen the movie. Oh well. Maybe the week after spring break. That'll be fun.

I have some pantless pics of Gerry. No really I do! Someone PMed them to be on another message board. Anyway, I doubt I'd get away with posting them on the main board. But I have a feeling my Pm box is gonna be full pretty soon. re: The official Gerard Butler love thread

Sally, I hope it does come to your theatre but I'm not sure it will. It's a small Scottish film and I only saw it in DC at the E street cinema, which plays foreign, independent and documentary films. I seriously wish it would be more played, as like I said it was a great, great film. Leather jacket. If it came to my theatre, I would probably see it again.
