Are you serious?? It makes sense for him to be saying I am Job...I thought he was saying I want to apply for a job in this bad english, I'm gonna pretend it's still Job, I like it better that way.
But no Little Mermaid?? Along w/ Field of Dreams, my fav movie of all time? Oh no, that's sad. I have that whole movie memorized
Dre, hmm, hold on...don't think I have anything for this weekend, my friend Christina and I were talking about going to Garden State Plaza and the saturday on some Saturday, but no definite plans so unless we seriously start discussing that for that date, I don't see why not. In terms of shows...seeing Trailer Park musical this thurs or next most likely...and Naked Girl this Friday...so yeah Odd Couple SRO would be cool(though I'm sure we'd hafta get there immensely early and can you get 2 standing tickets per person or would we both hafta be there)? Or...I might as well just give up and live w/ the fact that I'm seeing DRS 4 times a month, Laura will be in for Sherie though, cool w/ that?
Only other thing I could think of A Soldier's Play(w/ Taye Diggs) opens off bway that Monday, they have an odd discount thingie and I hafta double check on student tickets policy, it seems like you can get student tickets whenever but it was mentioned specifically w/ a code that expires on Sunday...I have a friend that interned w/ Second Stage, I'll get more info from her. Maybe even consider rush tix to Sweeney if nothing else, I hate to see previews, but I am a pit geek...hmm.
so we'd be aiming for two shows and whatever we see we'd be rushing/lottoing/tktsing/sroing so nothing really would hafta be planned in advance? alright if that's the case I'll aim for it and we can finalize things as it gets closer.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
